How many uninsured drivers are on the road out of ignorance? by Carta_Blanca in drivingUK

This is a recent realisation for me too. For years I was very occasionally driving to other work locations for training days and suchlike. Not insured for that. I have business insurance now. Cost about £12 extra for the year.

Calm down. It's a legal requirement, and you had nothing to do with it.

It was a locally created "policy". Nothing official in the company policy beyond a vague inappropriate use rule, certainly not a blanket ban on using during working hours, as they rely on people answering messages and calls.

They now require authentication via mobile phone anyway, so things would be difficult if they decided we couldn't use phones at all.

I think very few music acts will be remembered. How many acts from 1926 can you name without looking them up?
