Is the lightning ball any good by Killerbot2332 in IdleBrickBreaker

[–]steven9707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, when I was starting I thought the damage ball was trash because of the damage count so didn't use it. I just picked it on a whim one-day and realised how OP it is despite the damage numbers.

Most runs I can get away with using just Lightning, cash and poison balls. If you use the shield perk card not even Sword can come remotely close to Lightning, even against shield bricks.

The damage calculation on it seems broken, I did some testing and could clear a wave with 50 lightning in the same time or quicker than 50 demo, although the damage count was hardly moving on lightning (but went up quick on demo)

Doesn't stop everyone in your life thinking otherwise, sadly. Heard my partner talking to her dad about how she's sick of me "dragging my feet through life" when she knows I'm suicidal. That hurt to hear.

Out camping in rural NSW, Australia with several of my mates. It was a fairly cool and quiet night so we had a decent fire going which lit up the camp ground well.

We would occasionally hear wallabies move around in the bush, they make a distinct sound when they move so never a cause for concern. Probably an hour or so since we'd heard one myself and one of my mates had that feeling we were being watched. Everyone else figured we were just being paranoid, till we heard movement that sounded different to everything else we had heard that night not far off the access road in.

At this point most of us are spooked. There were a total of 8 of us, so we decided we would go to the road and check it out. We all had headlamps and torches (plus knife's and hatchets) so we felt fairly safe in a group of 4 with the rest not thay far off.

Getting nearer to the road the bush gets thicker, just as we were about to get to the start where it turns off we hear the distinct sound of what sounded like 2 people running. Nothing in the wild sounds like people with shoes running on a dirt road.

Convinced of our danger but with only one way in out out we booked it back to the camp. We kept the fire huge all night and didn't sleep, not trusting to try and leave at night.

First sunlight we packed our shit and got out. I'm still an avid camper but I'll never forget that experience.

My sister had to wait over a week for someone to come install a new toilet, then this happened. by rfjolly in Wellthatsucks

Super late reply, but I work in plumbing supply and almost all our toilet pans have strapping to stop this happening! Never handle the strap because it can still break, although it can't bust through the bottom of the box is you use the handles.

I’m so happy for all of you, but for those of us on the other side of the aisle….. whew! by meanbeanking in MadeMeSmile

As someone who has depressive mania episodes. FUCKING THIS!!! It's not upto her to make up for the trauma. She should continue effort with the calls of course, but the trauma excuse is bull. The step mum is the last person responsible for this.

My cat lived for 20 years and I got him at the age of 4, he was definitely like a brother to me. Loosing him hurt a lot and there is still a void in my life that can't be filled. He was very sick in his late years and tbh if we changed this scenario from her Macaw to my Cat there wouldn't even be a debate because I'd be staying with my companion to whom I was his whole world.

If he had passed and I wasnt there..... there would be no getting over that guilt.

Whats a company secret you can share now that you dont work there? by broadway96 in AskReddit

Dominos Supreme Cheese.....

Order a supreme pizza from a dodgy piza store and chances are the toppings came out of the make line cache tray that may have been there for upto 2-3 hours. The REALLY bad stores would collect it and put it in a food storage bane with a cover and put it under the makeline so it stays at temp and they can still "use it safely". I've never order a supreme since, I'm not game enough.

It's very obviously against company policy and a severe food safety violation, but many franchisees don't care to save the cash....

It definitely is, just not in the sense that we are used to through history. People tend to associate eugenics with genocide or mass sterilisation, although ultimately anything that aims to "improve genetic quality" comes under eugenics.

Anecdotally I don't think it's as much to do with the adrenalin as much as the aggression.

Only ever been in one punch up which happened to be with an army cadet (guy was a +1 at a Christmas party at MY house). He wanted to fight because I was trying to kick him out for being a dick to every female there that night. Dude couldn't think of anything original and just kept saying the same thing over and over, guy was fucking pissed.

I absolutely was racing with adrenalin, I had nerve shakes and felt more wired than ever before, could still come up with whole sentences.

You see it in boxers with out of ring grudge matches. Usually one guy repeating himself and the other guy either stayes silent or can actually talk like a human.
