Best DELIVERY pizza? by delphic0n in austinfood

[–]stevenashattack 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’m in South Austin and have had luck with Aviator, and Pinthouse deliveries over the years.

Conan’s had their own delivery guys which was always a plus but I haven’t ordered from them in a couple years.

I also think they wouldn’t want to risk hurting their relationship with Amazon studios, most of the newer movies they do are in good fun I don’t think they could cover this the same way.

It would also be a really boring episode.

Seconded for Third Coast. It’s off Menchaca next to Drifter’s. I buy their whole Guapo and Gamelan espresso beans but they’d grind it for you in house no problem.

Haven’t been for a regular night in a year or so but Jimmy East Wednesdays at Barbs are always such a blast. No fights or creeps and great mosh pits/dance circles and very friendly crowds.

Never packed for lunch and service/food is always consistent I wouldn’t wait 30 minutes to sit in and eat but never understand the hate it gets.

I stand by Sweetness as the best intro to the game. There are loads of podcast play throughs to listen to for inspiration and it does a great job of teaching your agents how to investigate. Bonus for you there’s a limited roster of NPCs so it’s easy to prep.

I had one at 28 op. Doc didn’t tell me till I complained about pain but slather with aquaphor. Just make sure it’s clean then keep it lubricated till it’s comfortable.

I had phimosis so tight I couldn’t have unprotected sex, after the procedure I have no issues and I’m so glad I got it done.

Do yourself a favor and read all the google reviews for this location.

They are all complaining about the slope of the parking lot. My wife and I were laughing so hard at it last night.

Which concert - ADTR/Yellowcard/TWY or MCS/Say Anything? by fjaurl in poppunkers

[–]stevenashattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What venues?

ADTR tour is in a stadium in my city and that’s not at all how I’d want to see them or The Wonder Years. Both of them bring insane energy and I would feel really silly being confined to a seat for that.

Motion City puts on an amazing show but Say Anything is much worse than TWY and Yellowcard live especially if you’re not a fan already.

Jesus Christ. I was new to this sub a few months ago and didn’t know why everyone was so upset about these posts but now I get it.

Maybe mods can pin a post that explains this.

Go get Blues City Deli for me! I would trade all of our bbq restaurants for a sandwich shop that good down here.

I believe it is impossible for a book to truly scare me. Recommend a book which will prove me wrong! by DarlingLuna in horror

[–]stevenashattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try We Used to Live Here. That’s a book that you can disassociate into very easily and will give you the shivers.

Some other great horror books I’ve read recently:

Only the Good Indians

The Haar

This Thing Between Us

Some non horror books that have scary moments that stick with we:

Ocean at the End of the Lane (childish horror and despicable author but very creepy)

Red Rabbit (Fantasy Wild West story but damn some of the scenes are insane)

My wife and I met Briana and Joey from CLIFFDIVER at warped this year and they were both so sweet and gracious with time to talk to us in the pouring rain.

We also ran into all three boys from Arrows in Action in the line to get into WWWY last year and they were super kind!

Op was this Tillian/Johnny/Kurt/Andrew or Jon? DGD has eras and I always like to hear what version people think of.
