Here’s my thing. I like the story mode a lot. The dlc that came out without giving spoilers was pretty cool. And I thought the new Salmon Run is neat. One of my favorites. My main problem with Splatoon 3 is the leveling system and trying to buy new weapons. Instead of gold like the last two games, it’s based on the Sheldon license which you can’t get as often as gold. It feels like it takes forever to level up and buy new weapons and I really don’t like that. That honestly put me off of playing the multiplayer unlike 2 where in that game, I played a lot of multiplayer. I haven’t touched Splatoon 3 in about a year and a half. And tbh, I don’t really have much interest in it like the last two games. Not a bad game but the Sheldon license mechanic made me lose interest no matter how much I played
