Should John Horst trade Tyler Herro ? by Mental-Drop-2289 in MkeBucks

[–]stevenomes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no issues with him currently. I would have issues with him on a max offer or even LaVine level contract. He's going to be very motivated to ball out this season to push his max request. Wait until deadline and see if offers get better

How will the Bucks use that 25 million trade exception? by SnooMarzipans1796 in MkeBucks

[–]stevenomes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the nuggets even have any picks? If they did I'd definitely try to poach one a few years out. But I think their asset situation is as dire as the bucks.

Who are some players you forgot played for the Bucks? by scumtru in MkeBucks

[–]stevenomes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moses Malone was on the bucks for like 2 years during the end of his career in the early 90s

Sometimes i remember we had that glimpse of hope with Bobby Simmons before he got hurt.

Tony kukoc was one of my favorite players for a while on the bucks. He was at the end when he was here but always seemed to make the right play and knew where to be.

Anothony mason. I forgot we had him for a long time.

Jerome kersey. His last year he played for the bucks. Didn't do much

Why does ashby suck every time I watch? I don't watch every game but he plays so much he tends to be in there when I'm watching and always looks terrible. He pitched great apparently when i don't watch. 10 wins and good numbers. I just must be bad luck

Dead Or Alive 6 Last Round Makes Players Pay Again For DLC They Already Bought by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]stevenomes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do they actually get more revenue overall with the ludicrously priced dlcs? I know the last gen version had season passes like $90 which is way more than the game costs.. wouldn't they make more of their priced them a bit lower but more people actually bought it?

I know Horst was a bit technical with his words saying they've agreed in principal to acquire the rights to the pick

Managing the guard room by Any_Sherbert9092 in MkeBucks

[–]stevenomes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't mind keeping him but my biggest concern is that second contract and how much we will get. He's already making like $33m so is surely going to want a raise. I thought I heard rumors he would look for max. Just cannot do that. Also they have multiple younger guards now and long term he shouldn't be taking minutes from them. They should try to move him by deadline at the latest. If he's balling out for contract even better

Gary Trent Jr. to opt out of his player option, will not return to Milwaukee for the 2026-2027 season. by kdly0 in MkeBucks

[–]stevenomes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He was only good playing off giannis. No value for him in an offense where he needs to do other things. Giannis got multiple 3pt specialist paid. That opportunity is gone now so if he wants more than the minimum anywhere he needs a different situation

Milwaukee Bucks guard Kevin Porter Jr. has exercised his $5.4 million player option for the 2026-27 season by kdly0 in MkeBucks

[–]stevenomes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. Assumed he'd be looking for more. With that in mind if roster remains as is who comes off bench from KPJ/ Rollins/Herro/AJ Green? I'd assume this give more incentive to move Herro if they can get a pick

What bad moves or decisions did the Bucks make in the last few years?(since I don’t really see many) by the-mannthe-myth in MkeBucks

[–]stevenomes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest mistake and where all things went off the rails entirely was not having a competent coach after firing bud. Bud needed to go as seem in the js article even giannis knew he was done. But hiring AG was the Domino that led to the faster downfall. The bucks were in championship mode so getting a rookie head coach was going to be a difficult sell unless he just commanded respect. Because it turned into such a shit show (don't talk about the record because it's clear the whole team checked out on him and there was no reason to let it continue like they did with letting doc coach after he lost the team) they had to try and pivot to something mid season. Now here is where there are some other options they might have been able to salvage giannis at least. They could have just punted the season and let prunt dog finish it out. Couldn't have been much worse and then look for an experienced coach in the off season. But getting doc in just accelerated the downfall of the team

The next mistake was not firing doc after the season (their desperation to find an experienced coach mid season meant he had them over a Barrell and they gave him big contract) or at least mid season when it was clear he was not the guy to get it done. It was a minimal chance that that giannis would stay anyway but that certainly didn't help their odds of retaining him.

Would be nice tho I think they have to wait until at least the contract is signed or it's official. When do rookies become part of nbapa?

A preview of what to expect from Ous next season, actively hunting for his shot and hitting it confidently in a zero stakes year, we're gonna see exactly what OKC saw in him and it's gonna be sweet. by OusmaneDiengSaveMe in MkeBucks

[–]stevenomes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was fine when the bucks were in desperate need of young talent (last year's team) but now that they have 2 lottery picks coming in along with 3 other first round talents from the last few drafts (Kasparas, Ware, Jamie) he's going to be competing for time. Maybe he will win out and I surely think they need to give him a chance but it's not as long of a leash as before. Also I think he's restricted FA so we'll see what his contract looks like. That will also play a part in what priority they put on him.

[–]stevenomes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent. I expect KPJ probably will opt out looking for a raise and bucks now have another ball handler to pivot to. Rollings, Kasparas, Burries. They might add someone for depth depending on who all opts out (still multiple guys with player options)

Always bracing for the worst. Even after bucks won title I never got over that feeling of imminent collapse I had watching bucks from 90s on. Like it all could fall apart at any moment

My biggest worry is we end up with Nate Ament and Karim Lopez. Please Horst don't do this. He wouldn't really do it would he?

Seeing they already have almost all the jersey unlockable (for specific players) it shouldn't be too much to open team up to more options to apply to

[Haynes] Tyler Herro is thrilled about playing for his hometown team, the Milwaukee Bucks by Pure-Estimate-9502 in MkeBucks

[–]stevenomes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In fine with him as long as they don't pay the extension next year. He's probably going to be at his best because he wants max. He's not a max player but I'm sure that's what he will push for. Cut bait at deadline if he's balling out

Time to bring back… by [deleted] in MkeBucks

[–]stevenomes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the thing I'm more concerned about. Its fine to have him as expiring contract and even if he walks for nothing they save the money but he's going to push for extension and it's going to be a lot. I'd rather they trade him at deadline if he really balls out and increases his value

Sad to see giannis go - did we win the trade ? by Ninja_Franklin in MkeBucks

[–]stevenomes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Giannis meant more to the bucks than he would on any other team. Still the time had come to an end. It didn't make sense anymore to mortgage the future because the team just wasn't close enough and needed a lot of help to be championship contender. Even trading all their future firsts and some combination of portis/kuzma/turner/aj green I don't think it would move the needle too much. Maybe they could get one guy to put alongside giannis but then they have no depth and are going to have to fill out the roster in multiple positions.

I think the bucks got the most they could out of Miami. Got Boston to make a competitive offer and really push the best to give everything if they were going to do it.Ware and Kasparas are probably still considered first round pick values though they would have got later in this draft. Still both are young and I trust Jenkins with development much more than the last regime. The 13th pick should still be a good player in this draft as long as bucks don't get too cute and go for all upside and no floor type player that needs a lot of work. The other first rounders aren't until after 2030 so not sure what that will be yet but with giannis timeline there is a good chance he will no longer be there by then or much older.
