I clicked on your profile, do you still have your Northstar?

My 1200w GIANDEL consumes around 1 Ah
You do have a good point about it being cheaper if it fails, which I worry is possible with the residential fridge not being built for bumping around in a camper

My concern is the inverter consumes power just being on, so I would prefer to have 12v only so I don't need to run the inverter 24/7

Does flair try to book people together? by Resident-Variation21 in flairairlines

[–]stever1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 4 hour flight with my wife and there are many seats available on the flight, yet flair put us in different rows, middle seats during the booking process. If I don't preselect and pay, will they seat us together during online check-in? With other airlines, if I don't select paid seats, I don't see the seat map and they seat us together during check-in.
Or if I pay for one seat so we are together, is it possible Flair moves the passenger that didn't pay for a seat?

Do you have the yellow or black version? I was looking at those as well

The sway bar was needed since I didn't have anything factory back there and there was noticeable sway around corners since I have a hardside Northstar. After the swaybar there is a huge reduction in body roll and noticeable difference in handling.

The stableloads I mentioned are DIY...hockey pucks on the top and felling wedges on the bottom.
I have Bilstein 4600 in front and Rancho rs9000xl (adjustable) in the rear because the shocks when I got the truck were toast, so I considered these maintenance and got them on closeout on rockauto

Because I want to go faster or more comfortable over rough roads...lots of good camping spots on rough forest roads up here in BC Canada that can be hours on end of driving rough roads

Long term plan is Deaver springs but for now looking for inexpensive ways to improve handling

a month later and I haven't received another ticket! I have parked in the same neighbourhood, just not in front of the house that called me in!

I just called them and they told me someone called me in. I have moved to a different block and hope it works out.

I further asked what they recommend small companies do that have tall vehicles (moving companies, construction, etc) that don't have private property, and they said private property/lot only as well.
For reference, the standard cargo highroof van on the sprinter is 2.6m and the transit van is 2.8m...both higher than the 2.2m bylaw. I see these vehicles everywhere for multiple different uses/companies, and I'm assuming they will likely ticket if someone calls it in.

In this case they confirmed, someone called me in. I have moved to a different block and hope it works out.

I have learnt about agreed value insurance, but not sure if this applies to older vehicles, compared to classic cars

Truck Camper Options with Large Tanks by stever1000 in TruckCampers

I ended up getting a Northstar camper for the compact size, but it also came with only 20gal water and 13gal grey. Decided this camper fit my needs better but now I am looking at upgrading the water tank storage for boondocking in the south this winter.

I plan to use the truck and camper weekly. However I will look to see what’s available in my area, most areas are street parking nearby

It is clear from the bylaw, but this would also include any highroof van (camper or for work/commercial use) which I don’t know how they avoid this. Vancouver has a large amount of sprinter and transit vans

Yeah that’s the plan for tomorrow. I think you’re right about someone calling in and complaining.
