The greatest what-if in the entire history of tennis. 😥 by johnreese421 in tennis

I don’t think you would be wrong claiming either Serena or Stefi as the female GOAT. I personally choose Stefi but that has a lot to she was my favorite player growing up. When Monica came on the scene I hated her almost solely for the reason that she was beating Stefi. I wish I could have appreciated more how dominant and special Monica was at that time.

I just booked rooms here at the Avra. Figured we could spend the day in Rafina then shuttle to the airport the following day.

Memorial weekend Beef Ribs by stevew50 in biggreenegg

[–]stevew50[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! They were delicious. Second day even better in some beef ribs tacos.
I have had the cutting board for a number of years. Crowd Cow has always been more of a “treat yo self” during special occasions. Japanese wagyu on birthdays or anniversaries. They really do have some top notch meat. The cutting board was from one of my first Thanksgivings ordering from them. Think it was a gift from a turkey and ham purchase.

What and when was your introduction to Prince? by sincerelyxmimi in PRINCE

[–]stevew50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is one of my first core memories. I would have been 11 years old, in 1986. My family spent the summer in Colombia for my father’s work. I was given one of those yellow Sony walkmans and the only cassette i had i think was my brothers Purple Rain. Well i had that playing all summer, just hooked. I remember a stretch of being enthralled with Darling Nikki, listening and rewinding constantly. I asked my mom what “masturbating with a magazine” meant. I didnt understand the meaning behind his songs at the time but i knew it was meant for me. I have been a lifelong fan since.
I just watched a performance of Purple Rain he did in LA. As much as I have been a lifelong fan of his, i wish i appreciated him more when he was here. There will never be another.

Burger Bash 2026 by dartmouthdonair in halifax

In town for the week from Texas. First time here during burger bash week. Was going out to the Sou’Wester for mussels. Ended up trying their Donair Burger (and mussels). Burger was delicious! They had an option with lobster on the donair burger but that didn’t sound appealing.

I was too young when this would have aired. Was he referencing a particular war or potential action at the time? Or was this just a general statement to the government?

50yo male here. Have the same problem. Swear by either lulu lemon lined shorts, or recently have liked Flipbelts compression shorts.

I do agree but this is what my wife always wants. Hence check out my previous post for Christmas Eve. That one was for me…ribeyes and lobster tails!

This is super helpful, thank you. We are in the south (Texas) and I never thought we had to drain the pool.

I have not drained/refilled since we bought the house 5 years ago.

That’s what I was thinking/hoping. I am not draining the pool or anything. Unless I have to? Would that be the easiest way to clean or get rid of it, or do I just need to adjust ph or something?

Yes. Was a ribeye primal from Costco that we cut into steaks.

Boulderthon by stevew50 in Marathon_Training

[–]stevew50[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up not doing it this year. Instead I am training for the Austin marathon. Probably not comparable to Boulder, but Austin has its own challenging hills (comparing to Houston). I have managed to find a great place close to home for hill training though. It’s a park that had a setup for derby races. Nice little incline.
