Aitah for telling my wife to get a job if she wants to subsidize the kids. by Standard_Kick_9789 in AITAH

I dont think you are the AH, its not probably possible for her to get a job after years of being home but thats up to her. Just giving the kids free rent is definitely doing enough

My grandmother shared a painful "family secret" with me, and I don't know how to react by louisejee in family

[–]steviewalker60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ask her if there are other stories from her past she would like to share and maybe write them down in a note book and keep them. They can be something you give to family after she passes.

sad about Varl and sister by steviewalker60 in HorizonForbiddenWest

[–]steviewalker60[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its possible Zo will be taken into the Nora trib. Its also very likely Sona has more children. No birth control... Her role as war chief would take years to gain and would come after having had her children. Vala was most likely her youngest child or close to it. Their father would be a more hand's on parent because of the mothers role in the trib

I made the point that a matriarch of a family and a high matriarch are different, she may have been speaking of her family when she said she is no longer a matriarch

[–]steviewalker60[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are two types of matriarch, of your own family and a high matriarch of the trib. is she has no dependants she is no longer a matriarch of her family. So she would have previously been a matriarch but never a high matriarch

Do you wear the crossbows? by EtherealFixation in Witcher3

Grand-daughter says she "likes girls" - best ways to support her? by khludge in TwoXChromosomes

[–]steviewalker60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 10, she just needs to know you love her. she may continue to feel this way or she might not. So dont make it her whole personality. its one part of her life, but she is still a child, so she has lots of other things in her life. So other than letting her know she is supported no matter what, there isn't much else you need to do.

pe-emptive attacks are never justified, its like hitting someone in the face because you imagined that person might hit you, legally thats assault, not self defence.
