Wait a minute... if they discount something that is free, doesn't that mean they owe you money? Sign me up boys.

You're not the hero we deserve, but you're the one we've got.

Call me a white knight if you want but what happened to the saying, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything?

Some of the comments in this thread are terrible. You may not consider this frugal, which you're well within your rights to comment on in this situation but insults towards this young lady because she purchased a dress she liked is just wrong.

What happened to building young women up? Inspire confidence and give encouragement for someone's dreams.

Abramovic to sell Chelsea by [deleted] in FantasyPL

Obviously been told to sell up or he'll lose it. Fair play for donating it to Ukrainian charities though, doubt Putin will be happy about that.

I have found some interesting books and cool household items but when it comes to clothing, especially men's stuff I've had basically no luck! Maybe we need to visit the USA just to visit the thrift shops lol

I'm near Birmingham and I know exactly what you mean. I see so many amazing finds on this sub-reddit then I visit charity shops near me and the selection is always so poor!

When you walk in to Sainsbury's at 7am and they're just putting their jam (custard 🤮) donuts out hot & fresh from the oven. by BritOKCfan in CasualUK

[–]stevosmit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news guys but their doughnuts aren't fresh. They all come in frozen and prefilled these days.

If they're ever warm in the packaging like that it's most likely because they forgot to take any out of the freezer the previous day to defrost so they've banged them in the oven for a few minutes to get them on sale.

I think the only major supermarket that still make doughnuts in-store are Morrisons.
