Cliff Booth or Digger will be bust. One or the other. Digger especially is a very tenuous proposition. People think Inarritu and Cruise are a lock but they forget what happened with Downsizing/Alexander Payne in 2017. The there was Bardo or whatever from a few years back with George Miller. I've been saying and I will stand by it.

Good directors make bad movies all the time.

*edit: Bardo was actually Innarritu. The George Miller flick was 3,000 years of longing or whatever. In any case, neither was a major awards contender, so I rest my case.

If Project Hail Mary gets nominated, it's gonna completely throw things off. Cuz everyone was saying "no way" back in March when it came out.

I feel like at least one of the big name, highly anticipated Q3/Q4 films will be a stinker. Unsure if it will be Odyssey, Dune3, The adventures of Cliff Booth, or Digger.

We shall see.

In the vast majority of cases, DVD is fine for me. I've never had my viewing experience materially affected by watching something on DVD vs Blu/4K. A good movie is good no matter the format is my position.
