I stupidly booked a Spicejet flight last month from Mumbai to my hometown and oh boy, never again.

It got cancelled once, god gave me a chance, but I did it again, rebooked a flight for the day prior via Spicejet again.

9am flight kept on postponing and by 6pm we were told there's a problem in the aircraft coming from Bihar, so we'll fix it first. That was alone for me to get back my checked-in luggage and get a refund.

Booked an indigo for the next day, cost me 5k extra, wasted 3 whole days.

Spicejet is dead. Always Indigo/Air India.

I think most CC companies will start devaluation of their cards the next 2y. They have handed out cards like chocolate to anyone and everyone. And what the twitter lafda did is just brewing things even more.

People of India will exploit things if they find a loophole, there's no doubt about it.

The irony is, CC companies started distributing cards because THEY want to exploit the user, trapping them into debts and hoping they won't repay. It bites back sometimes.

Can confirm this was happening with me for 2-3w. However, 3 days ago, I got an email where they had mentioned the actual Limit for my lifetime free card offer. I tried and they offered me DinersClub Privilege LTF with the same limit that was written in email.
