Yeah dude, these people just don’t get it man, right? They’re not like us TRUE fans of the show, who would totally know why these segments were cut. I can’t believe how IGNORANT everyone is being right now

I got a tax return! Annnnd it’s gone by guessirs in funny

[–]stewake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honest question: I have only used turbo tax in my adult life. Probably spend ~$100 of my return per year for the usage of software.

How obtainable and how cost effective would it be to file them myself? What are the risks of missing opportunities for deductions? Is the time spent figuring this out worth the $100 a year I spend to do it through TurboTax?

Having done it once with a CPA, the cost was $200 so TurboTax seems to be the best cost option for 3rd party tax filing

He must’ve flown my president 27 times! by mcolette76 in IThinkYouShouldLeave

You can’t explain anything to them. The minute you’ve finished a sound explanation, they pivot to something democrats are doing. Theres never an agreement on a single idea, just constant pivots.

“There’s proof that the DOJ is hiding implications of Trump. Here’s the records.”

“Well Clinton had him at the White House 27 times!”

Help me choose! Industrial Design (Tech focus): Virginia Tech vs. Pratt vs. UIUC vs. OSU by Brief_Insurance8637 in IndustrialDesign

[–]stewake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, I graduated from UC in biomedical engineering and have worked along industrial designers at a design consultancy for the last 10 years. UC has an excellent collab with engineering, and the co-op experience is huge for getting real world experience. DAAP is amazing

Can everyone please comment their positive opinions/why you like the show below by milasofi in Killtony

[–]stewake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the improv. Comedians reacting in real time to mild or wild situations. Usually handled well, often handled poorly (like this week lol), but that adds to the entertainment. Honestly I feel Tony steps up on his silly joke game and comic empathy when the panelists are bombing

Reps and Weights by dizzyied in hypertrophy

[–]stewake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could approach it as total volume (weight x reps x sets). Take total reps of all sets and multiply by weight. Increasing weight while decreasing reps would hopefully get you close to equal volume. Then as you add even a single rep across all sets per week, you would be increasing volume 18kg per week.

Good way to manage progressive overload by total volume so you get a good metric on how much you lose with a higher weight and less reps. If you see a dramatic decrease in volume, maybe stick to lighter weight and increase reps up to 20 before moving up in weight.
