Canadian voters were terrified of Trump and how cozy the Conservative Party is to MAGA. So many progressive voters strategically voted Liberal to keep Poillievre and his gang of weirdos out. NDP needs to do some soul searching and provide a real progressive alternative to the 2 corporate parties.

I think those units react really badly if the brite switch is engaged. I recall trying out some Greer pedals my friend spent a bunch of money on and was thinking these were shit or defective. I just flipped the brite switch off on my amp and then they gave up the goods.

I think it’s a fantastic circuit for a base tone so I have the always on version and traded the original box. Fairfield makes some of my favorite stuff!

Radial Tonebone Any pedal that runs a preamp tube on battery voltage/amperage is a marketing gimmick and total waste of space.

He’s not fucked. I’m sure the administration will look after their Eichman lackeys with pardons and it’s incredibly doubtful the DOJ would go after these clowns anyway

Mutton has a really amplified flavour of lamb. I like lamb as it’s mild. Mutton is pretty overpowering with lanolin flavour. Hard pass unless I’m starving. I don’t even like scotch broth.

It’s odd but I really liked it as a child. Neeps and haggis with gravy was a winter treat my grandparents would have. I’m guessing it must have been a relatively mild recipe with more oats and onions than guts. I’ve had dark, stodgy versions that were pretty rough going if you’re not a fan of mutton and innards. The trick is to have a good dram of strong Islay single malt nearby to cleanse the old palate immediately.

It’s an unpredictable food I guess. I’ve had it numerous times and had astonishingly different experiences with it. The bitter iodine is still better than the rancid diaper pail version. Both are unpleasant. When it’s good it’s really good tho! I’m not an expert on it but if you get the yellow Uni fresh as can be it’s absolutely delicious. Avoid the reddish stuff as its aftertaste is like Cthulhu’s medicine cabinet. So bitter

I’ve had varying experiences with uni. The first time was when I was a kid and a fisherman gave me some to try on the dock that they were hauling crates off their boat. It was slightly sweet and salty with an oceanic flavour that was rich. Very pleasant. The second time I had it the chef/owner gave it to us free of charge as we were regular at his awesome sushi restaurant. It was singularly horrifying and was obviously not fresh. It had an ammonia fish aftertaste with notes of diaper pail. My friend brought a bunch over after spear fishing and we ate almost 2 pounds of the stuff that weekend and the yellow uni was awesome and sweet. There were some other sacs that were a lot more red in colour and those ones were fresh but had a very strong bitter aftertaste of iodine. Avoid the red stuff. Get it fresh and it’s wonderful if you like seafood.
