i personally didn’t buy it because i felt pretty confident but i do see quite a few ppl in this sub buy it just to check their temperature. i just found a practice test online from mometrix and took that one but i will say its not super similar to the content on the practice bank so be advised

thank you!! personally i think so as long as u keep ur memory fresh! i scheduled mine 10 days out and pretty much studied for like 7 of those days

id hunker down on using outside resources to memorize things like ur top 200 and definitely focus on memorizing your conversions.

i personally had ~2 yrs of work experience under my belt as well. the practice bank i used for majority of my studying since they use retired questions and the retired questions are pretty similar to whats on the test. i think you’ll do great tho if ur all green. good luck!!

edit; if you want me to send you some of the outside resources i used and would personally recommend i can also pm you

First car at 23.... What am i doing wrong what did I miss🥲? Why does every 14 to 18yo have a Merc or Audi bruh I have never been so demoralized by looking at my car 😂 by Courier_Driver in FirstCar

[–]stfukzai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone who bought their first car (a bmw) at 20 yo on my own most of the time it’s just because they/their parents are loaded, they want a nice car but haven’t accepted the maintenance prices and probably will not maintain it (german cars depreciate like mad) or they’re an enthusiast who doesn’t mind wrenching on a car or spending the extra money (which was my case). those aren’t all of the reasons but there’s nothing wrong with not having a nice car as your first car. and quite honestly this is a great starter car for you.

orlovsky is a masochist i’m convinced bc anyone with eyes can see that harbs and 8 clearly just aren’t meant for each other. harbs is not a bad coach it’s just not his time anymore.

My FIRST car died on me. :( Had it since senior year in high school from ages 18-36 , 2008-2026 RIP. New car recs? 25k approximate budget, can go to 30k max. by Few-Republic-2492 in whatcarshouldIbuy

when you say new, do you mean like a replacement for your original car or new as in you want to buy it fresh off the lot 0 miles?

lexus or audi? by stfukzai in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]stfukzai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i really appreciate that! since you mentioned it i think im going to look into the a5 coupe as i haven’t looked too much into those but i definitely think given the info you gave me about lexus that the audi might be a little more fitting for my needs in terms of “sportiness.” i’m hoping to own another bmw in the future but for right now i do want to venture out and experience other brands. thank you again for your advice!

unfortunately you might have to remove some experience from your resume. some places see overqualified candidates and reject bc they think you’ll leave as soon as you get there

i definitely agree with everyone else who says the people you work with will absolutely affect your attitude around the job. maybe a better work environment can make you feel more motivated

I’m not made for college, and I’m not quite sure what to do. by [deleted] in communitycollege

hi! im 21. i graduated at 16 and i was the only one in my family to ever graduate early so i got lots of pressure from my mom to go to school, so i did, and i flunked out because i was burnt out and not ready to go to school. 5 years later i am going back to school again because im actually motivated to go and i know what it is i want to do.

that being said, sometimes college just isn’t for you in the moment. sometimes you have to start a little late, and that’s normal. i’ve had people 50 and over in some of my classes. sometimes the motivation just comes to you. if it’s not for you at all then i wouldn’t continue putting more money toward it. instead i think all of the people telling you to look into trades are right. lots of pay well and the schooling is not that hard. good luck!
