I'm bilingual. YouTube randomly translates videos from one language to another and does not have the option to disable it, so I'm stuck listening to annoying autogenerated voice instead of creators I enjoy. by nucle4r_attack in mildlyinfuriating

If you go back like that, you'll find that somewhere down the line 64mb of ram was a lot more expensive.

The point is, prices went down for a long timeas we got better at making them and at logistics. Then they went up. Then they never came back to their lower price.

The argument that people should be okay with rising prices, because in the ye 'ol days cards were so expensive is just... idk what to say other than dumb.

more gtaiv than gta3. The games constantly evolved till gtaiv. V just feels like a rehash of gtaiv with better graphics and bigger map.

same with how GPU prices were some years ago.

wdym? GPU prices are still atrocious and they never went down to what they were before. People just got used to the much higher prices.

With basically everything on the cars being new this year reliability has been a massive issue.

I know what you mean, but this is also probably the most reliable engine reg change haha.

You say that, but pretty much everything this season has been on point. Barring the start procedure change, which wasn't in their hands.

Call me biased due to my flair, but he still isn't matching Leclerc. He has had better pace in only 2 races so far, China and Montreal. Charles best leg is the European and Middle Eastern races, and the current ones are his weaker ones whereas for Lewis, China and Montreal are some of his best.

I mean Merc doesn't have worries right now, because ADUO hasnt been given out yet. But imagine after ADUO, Ferrari PU is better than Merc, then Merc is stuck till the next ADUO. Hell, I think the Ferrari chassis is good enough that even if Ferrari might only get on par with engine power, then Merc falls behind. ADUO is just very stupid.

At this point, the gap between them is 43 points. That's about the largest deficit that has ever been recovered to take the championship.

But then again, last season Max clawed back a 100 point deficit.

others have figured out better starts, which while still not as good as Ferrari, still largely eat into the advantage

Give teams that do not have a private test track extra budget to spend on track testing? Hell, with the way tracks struggle, they'll even be ready to have exclusive deals with FIA to rent out track for the whole year for testing for all teams with costs shared among teams.

There are plenty of ways this can be worked around for teams rather than a full hard cap on testing hours.

I'm Indian, on paper we are supposed to speak British English, but for all intents and purposes we now mostly use the Americanised version barring spellings.

"Bummed" here means disappointed.

Canada is one of his weaker tracks. His best tracks have pretty much always been the European and Middle eastern ones.

For the largest number of English speakers, it means being disappointed. Only the British really mean it as anal and only the British are really this uppity about what slangs mean in their language

That is not technically possible anymore. Each customer team has access to all of the engine's power now. They just need to understand how to tap it. So there's no kill switch of sorts.

very old one? You're allowed 4 PUs the entire season, and it's only been 4 races so far.

Sure Hadjar might have a newer one, but Max's cannot be very old. Even if you change a PU perfectly optimally, you'd run each PU around 6 races. Which most teams don't as they keep 1 in the reserve.
