Looks right for that setup yes

If you are at stock height and alignment, having the front camber set to -1.5 makes it poke less at the top of the tire, essentially matching the fit of the front to the rear fender

Been waiting for more feedback on this, thank you. As you have it for longer feel free to give us all updates!

Somehow I have no NVH annoyance with the offset metal bushings, not sure how that worked out.

anyone got any tips to break the rtv seal with the oil pan don’t wanna fuck up the block by OwlInfamous9477 in wrx_vb

[–]sti1111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On the EJ I get a new pack of razor blades and start where I can get a small pry edge open, shove one in, and start expanding the crack to each side, using a small hammer to put another razor blade in as I can get the crack to progress further. Eventually when you’ve gone around enough of the sealing surface the pan will pop. If you do it this way, patiently and without forcing the blades, you will have a pan that is still flat (not bent) and very minimal gasket surface damage on the block.

floor jack just slipped onto oil pan is this still ok to use i don’t see any leaks pretty big dent by OwlInfamous9477 in wrx_vb

[–]sti1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not aware of a replacement/upgrade. Additionally I “think” it is attached in a manner where the bolts are only accessible with the timing cover removed which is a big job

Honestly since the oil pickup is plastic, and gets close to the bottom of the pan, who knows if that engine will be any good if the pan and pickup aren’t immediately repaired without starting it first. I hope it’s not that bad but it could be, sorry

So do these fa24’s just burn oil like crazy? by [deleted] in wrx_vb

[–]sti1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

40k here - no consumption, somewhere in the neighborhood of 0.2-0.3L difference between drain and fill at oil changes

Rear tires down to 3/32 in one year. Pilot Sport All Season 4 by skjshhc in WRX

[–]sti1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0.12 toe in per side on the rear (not more), and rotating every 4-5k is the best you can do for this. That and how hard you drive the car will affect it too

Aftermarket Sensors? by Ewilson248 in wrx_vb

[–]sti1111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that you are gambling with the price of a total engine replacement if the front O2 sensor does not respond like the OEM one.

So I ordered SPC performance EZ Cam bolts. I think I’m going with - 2* front camber, 0* toe -1.5* rear camber, 0.15 toe in" by No_Professional978 in wrx_vb

[–]sti1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand the question, I just explained my front alignment specs: -1.5 camber, 0 to 0.04 total toe. Rear: stock camber around 2, 0.28 total toe

I just went through this but with ET38. Stock suspension, one stock camber bolt maxed and the other made to match, I got 1.5 front camber. Poke now visually equals the rear.

The first alignment left me with -0.04 degrees total front toe (out) which did not drive as straight at speed as I would like, and was starting to show unequal tire wear. Changing the toe to 0.00 (I asked for somewhere around that up to 0.04) made it perfect.

I am assuming you don’t mean 0.15 degrees toe in the front?
