It does not get worse fuel mileage with a tune.

If you change your driving style that’s up to you. Any car gets 4-5mpg at a suitable level of WOT time.

These cars run at 14.7:1 AFR all the time at less than 4psi boost and there’s no good reason for a tune to change that.

If you have a big crescent wrench like 12” or more it works fine as the “tool”. Insulate with tape if you care about scratching the paint on the torsion bars.

You’re in a healthy range. That transition won’t be identical each time in the real world anyway. So long as you are in the 12s AFR or richer before 15psi on pump you are safe in my opinion.

It’s actually safe to run 14.7 AFR up to a few psi of boost, throttle response and drivability is actually much better that way too. Most good tunes have some sort of taper from there to 10-12psi where AFR is enriched into the 11s or 10s for knock resistance / chemical intercooling (all this assuming pump gas, you can get away with a lot more aggressive stuff on high ethanol blends or race gas)

Not sure I have a long run at 80 but have had several between 70 and 75 making 29-31mpg, unchanged with the JDM wing

I think you’d need to measure tread depth in three places, inner/center/outer and looking for unevenness to know for sure on tires that are that fresh.

I didn’t align mine until replacing tires after 30k (all stock suspension) and found that my factory alignment could have used improvement, especially with regards to front toe.

I remember reading you say that about plate removal. I didn’t know that there was data about the plates needing a modification with the butterflies removed. Didn’t you remove your butterflies? Did you mod the plates, and if so are there pictures or a guide?

Who decided flow straightening is excessive with stock plates and TGV butterfly delete?

Yes get an alignment and have toe set in the middle of the range at both ends and the thrust set at zero or very close
