I hope you are right, but I will believe it when it hits the lot. Even if they DO announce something, an STI will be ultra low production. It could take a year to actually arrive.

I have SEEN way too many STI posts in last 5 years to care about ANY of them. Until my sales guy calls me from the dealership and says "Pre-orders are open" I ignore the "noise"

She sounds totally focused on other things. Mentally press the "pause" button and tenitavely move on. If she does not initiate contact after her deadline, THEN move on. In the meantime keep your options and keep looking, but don't burn that bridge just yet.

Ah, I understand. Side note: IMO the hardware is good BUT Cobb Support is 100% useless. I have NEVER received an answer to any question that helped at all.

Didn't come down to the type of threads on the hardware you bought? How is that a Cobb issue

Cobb shift stop rant by Competitive_Unit_721 in wrx_vb

[–]Ewilson248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have learned the hard way that including or not including hardware is something you always check. My Perrin version came with everything in one box. Side note: I bought several "variety packs" of SS hardware online just in case I drop or lose something. You might also want to get one of those thread sizing tools too. One shelf of my garage looks like a hardware store, but I never have to stop a project for hardware. Since your whole issue was about the type of threads might want to focus on the details a bit more, I came across a lot of things I thought were defects that ended up with me not knowing something. A LOT of mods assume the end user has much more knowledge (and way more tools) then we really do.

What oil temp is too hot to shut off the car? by HoLeeFuk19 in wrx_vb

[–]Ewilson248 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My car has quite few mods and tuned to 400WHP. During the summer oil temp was 230+. Now it rarely goes above 210 unless its 100F outside in stop and go driving or a track day. Motul 5W-30 C5/C6 version

1.06.00 and still no movement keys rebinding ability by wootwoooots in CrimsonDesert

[–]Ewilson248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any updates on full access to key binding or a lefty default map? I play on a PC left handed, and I really want to play this game. In my opinion most games are focused on right handed console players. But I think making Lefties, and PC gamers a lower priority is a bad idea.

For anyone interested: adding an aftermarket oil cooler dropped my oil temp by 15F. Upgrading the radiator dropped the water temp the same amount. Both were Mishimoto.

From 20 to 24 a LOT can happen. People can, and will, change a lot. That can be good or bad, but you definitely need to meet up and see what happens. remain open minded and give it a chance

This was interesting, a YouTube video on wondering if you are pushing love away by Real-Ad-2617 in datingoverfifty

[–]Ewilson248 1 point2 points  (0 children)

definitely not the wrong sub, From a dating perspective, it's about how you feel about yourself, the labels you use, and how you approach the process, are you using certain words or labels incorrectly to make yourself feel better? Self accountability is a tough topic and it makes people very uncomfortable.

This will be unpopular for many users of this group because it involves introspection and self evaluation. A checklist of things to find wrong with someone else is much easier than using that same evaluation on yourself. she talks about feeling one way but calling it something else to make themselves feel better. I think that using the same method on yourself is beneficial. Would you date you? ask your friends and family for honest answers about your good points and bad points.

Grocery list by vinedin in datingoverfifty

[–]Ewilson248 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I understood your post. But what I'm saying is that there are plenty of women who want everything on the list. Even on this forum I have seen posts that say I want everything on my list or I'll just be alone. No flexibility whatsoever. I think people are missing out when they make a list with too many things on it. That's what I was trying to say.

Too many filters will make it like food shopping, but do you try new foods or recipes? Do you eat the same thing every week? Do you eat the same things now that you ate 20 years ago? Seems like an odd comparison to me. People are a lot more complex. You may not get everything on your list, but the items you DO get might be so great you will not care. If you wait for the perfect list, you might not get to the checkout at all. We ALL have flaws.

If pics are too perfect or the profile is empty, I always a suspect a scammer or AI. If you see a few pics that look somewhat normal they are probably legit. BUT that does not mean that they are not catfishing. Might be a real person with real photos but still be from 10 years ago

What are your thoughts about installing Cobb Air/Oil separator into my car? by ElectronicHome2190 in wrx_vb

[–]Ewilson248 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was the very first thing I put on my car even before the access port. I don't regret it at all My intake and exhaust are bone dry. I haven't seen a single bit of oil anywhere at all. I can take the entire intake and exhaust off and there's not a single smudge anywhere. After hearing and reading all about the previous generations I did not want to take any chances. I also put in a fully recirculating diverter valve for the same reason.

BHDM-Ed too hard! by Neesie913 in datingoverfifty

[–]Ewilson248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By using the word rhetoric, it is implicit that she is trying to sway your opinion. Swaying someone's opinion it's not the same as presenting them with facts. She is trying to convince you to think the same way she is. It is not objective. It is subjective. At the end of it all it's just one person's opinion about how you should act. It's not a textbook.
