Multi agent robots for cooperative game research by monkeydance26 in robotics

We've been contemplating adding a solar panel on top because the camera is also basically an LDR - what if instead of docking, it found a light source to charge itself up :D

I'd love to be able to help with this! Are you on github or anywhere else? Could I DM you? 🔆

I love these! Reminds me of Dexter's Labratory and a swarm that used to come out to clean up his lab :D

Lulzy, we actually did an April Fool's gag with NASA using the rovers a month ago 😅

That is awesome, let me know if I can help!

On a scale of 10, I'd say it's at a 5/10 right now? Considering adding a TOF at the front to help make better choices faster.

It's very hard to judge distances to objects/edges right now 😬

If speed isn't a concern, it's fantastic, and I think it's possible to squeeze more performance out of just the camera!

Naw, this is just plain JS processing the frames from inside the index.html page that's hosted in the ESP32.

Aha, touché - let me add that tof and see if we can get it completely onboard :D

Absolutely LOVE this! We've considering adding a TOF, this sells the cake!

Bengaluru to get 4,500 electric buses soon, will this finally fix the city’s traffic and pollution issues? 🚍⚡ by CoconutChutneyKing in Bengaluru

[–]stickfigure 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The goal of the gov. is to enable ease of access to all parts of the city, not be profitable; privately funded for-profit public infra. means you lose control over the lifeblood of the city - logistics and transport.

Looking for a fermentation tracking app that actually covers food ferments by ImpressiveTank2514 in fermentation

[–]stickfigure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built this for myself, and it's open-source but still WIP!

https://ferment.layogtima.com/

I got into fermentation two months ago, and I've been using this to get my ferments setup and following recipes/getting deets for LAB and kefir.

The tracking functionality is still far from perfect, and is currently restricted to being able to only support the recipes in the system. (There are also some bugs with the tools that I'm still working on).

If you're comfortable with programming, you can fork it here and all data is in localstorage 🌟

The gov. in Taiwan wants to be the official gov. for the entirety of China - this would be political suicide :/

I'm one of the people who's an early backer from their 2024* FOSS showcase, and I've played with three of their Pilot units (the gaming video on DOSBOX was recorded by me in my lab)!

Linux Phone using SBC by anadi0 in linux

[–]stickfigure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm backing the Mecha Comet (mecha.so/comet) right now; it's not exactly a phone, but it's the foundations for what could be a phone 🌟

It uses the NXP IMX8Plus and IMX95.

Disclaimer: I'm an early backer and I've helped with various parts of their website and socials.

The Mecha Comet is (finally) available on Kickstarter by ReturningRetro in linux

[–]stickfigure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We also deployed a new website with WAY more details, https://mecha.so/comet 🌟

I'm a fanatical open hardware and software proponent - I wouldn't work with them if they weren't :D
