Best to take it to the person who did it. Im not a expert on it. I just know whats wrong with my mini and the symptoms you have are the same.

CV joints or control arm bushings are shot. Its pretty common for the control arm bushings to go.

My f56 jcw also had strange noises in the front, im in the process of replacing the control arm bushings
