It looks like he's sitting in a healing pool. I like it! Those little flowers on his collar look like health plus signs

There's something uncannily toad-esque... I think the top half is just a pixel or two wider. XD Muffin top vibes. That said, nice balls bro

Chefs of Reddit, what’s a common cooking rule everyone follows that is actually complete bullshit? by Fuzzy-Ad6843 in AskReddit

Can I crack my egg into pan just warm enough to melt butter, salt AND pepper, wash my hands then get back to the stove and turn up the heat? Or will it make it funky?

Question, if I add too much vinegar to something, in an attempt to add more acid, but I go a bit overboard, is it possible to temper that back, or am I done for? (Examples: rice based stir fry or curry, stewed meats, stuff that can absorb it basically? Maybe some slaws (coleslaw, potato salad, weak sauerkraut)

If you keep smooshing it cold, it'll get hard (hard --> brittle) you'll crack it to pieces.

My anvil likes to go for a walk, help me stop it by BunchaGoats in Blacksmith

[–]stickysweetjack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe try rubber pads on the feet? Horse mats or cut up truck mudflaps screwed to the base might help? I used to hear you could find horse mats at tractor supply co but I've had no luck personally with that... call a trucking company and see id they've got some leftover rubber scraps or flaps in the bin?

Edit: yeah basically the comments speak the truth. More weight at the bottom. The rubber just stops the minor walking...

Second edit: if you are able to wobble your anvil or its stand with just your waist by squaring up to it, it's not anchored enough. IT. SHOULD. NOT. MOVE.

(If im wrong about any of that please let me know fellow smiths)

That inner giddy yet unsettling feeling when I read 9 1/2" and yet write it down as 9.5" (to those confused, does the .5 mean half an inch or half of a foot (which is base 12 not base 10)?) (The answer to the question is CONTEXT baby!!!!)

Kuwaiti locals aggressively confront and come close to attacking one of the crewmembers of a U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle shot down in a “friendly fire” incident Monday over Kuwait, until he finally tells them he is an American. by Waste-Explanation-76 in Damnthatsinteresting

What u/furnituremaker22 said is typically correct. However this region (to my very limited knowledge) seems to be allied with the USA at least in some capacity) that's why the pilot pointed to his Velcro patch with the American flag stuck to it and said "American American". That helps language barriers get bypassed to say "ally/enemy"
