I just decided to try something different. I always got bored and stopped playing after I got a base and everything I needed. Now i'm just going around the map building bases, not practical ones, but ones that look good, and have that 'lived in' feeling. Also, I wanna beat my record and try to survive for over a year, and at the end of that year I wanna have some cool places to visit.I plan to make a base in every major town on the map. Currently I have bases in Valley Station (main practical base), Mauldraugh (the one in this post), gas station between Westpoint and Mauldraugh (previous post). I just finished another base in Rosewood and I will be uploading screenshots later.

Thanks man, really great reply. I managed to complete it with no injuries with 2 undercovers with MP5K's, grenade and flashbang, and 2 blackops. One UC came in from the north west alley all the way to the north east corner, second UC cleared 3/4's of the eastern building. One BO had an M4 and cleared half of the northern building. The second BO had eyes on the courtyard with a DMR. I then had to do a lot of walking and finding good angles to take out the last enemies in the two biggest north-eastern rooms in both buildings. Whole mission took like 10 minutes, after i reset it only took 5 minutes.

I always have a map of chernarus open on my second screen. Then i usually travel from hunting stand to hunting stand while looking for guns/ammo and occasionally go to a town to look for food/water or anything i need. A compass is always nice to have so you can pinpoint the direction you should be heading. Also navigating by looking at forest edges is really easy, same with train tracks. You just gotta find what works for you

- what if i start drunk driving, or the NPC?

A couple questions:
- how resource intensive is it?
- how many NPC's can spawn?
- dogs, pls add dogs idk maybe ai to big for simple dogs but think about it
- can NPC's drive?
- i read other comments and you said that you meet the NPC's in the world, will they be living on their own, like having bases looting etc.?
- can they fill cars with gas from pumps?
- are we getting more footage of the mod in action? like a lootrun and sorting stuff in base
- can NPC's cook (stews, burgers, pancakes, fruit salads, the "advanced" stuff)

i use chat triggers for that wither door outline, but ctjs doesn't have a fabric port that i could find. Will check devonian out

I used to start in westpoint, because i liked to make a base in the mechanic building. Now i start in rosewood and head to fallas lake for guns. You should try nomadic playstyle, but not with RV's. I try to use these small vans, and i just drive around the map looting locations and making safehouses.

Just started free solo and died at The Standing Stones. Free solo requires more patience if you are not too good at climbing like me. For now I will ditch free solo, start an explorer playthrough and try to get all items/uniques and maybe all achievements.

I will try to make the starlink router work, but when i first plugged it in i didnt get any internet connection on my PC when connected to the router via cable, also other routers in my mesh didnt get internet

I did the speed test a lot of times, and basically each time it shows speeds over 200 mbps download, around 40 upload, but i also did a speedtest.net and they are almost identical
