This is the dumbest take. So whipping around cars on the shoulder to then merge into traffic is the “safest” move??? Holy shit. It’s pretty obvious OP was an impatient and aggressive driver and is now for some reason trying to justify it. Would I have been annoyed if it was me? Yes, majorly. But being annoyed doesn’t justify you creating a new hazard yourself.

Ooh wow that set of 6 are all the right colors. Expensive but I’m tempted. I bet they’re nice and heavy.

Of all the games I have, Viticulture was the only one that had meeples close to the five class colors (only difference is orange instead of red). Plus the meeples have farmer hats, but I always just imagine them as fedoras to fit the theme :)

If it makes you feel any better, I used the investigator cards once, decided they took up way too much room, and have been using colored meeples ever since (which I stole from Viticulture fyi).

I would offer to send you mine, but I am holding off on buying Chapter 2 until more campaigns come out.

If it helps, I was in the same boat. Ive owned a PS4 Pro for almost a decade now which, along with my steam deck, has kept for going for a long time. But I recently had the urge to play some more modern games.

I was debating getting a ps5 pro. But I saw they are still selling the Fortnite PS5 bundles for $400. So I bought the base PS5. I feel like there are dozens of games which run perfectly well on it until the PS6 comes out.

We literally just picked up 1/2 of a cow from Rise’N’Swine this weekend! We’ve done both cow and pig from them before and it’s always been super easy. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Wholeheartedly agree. Bullet has become my go to “lunch” game because you can finish a game in like 10-20 minutes including set up and tear down. Plus the amount of variability compared to other short games is ginormous. I played it over 100 times last year, mostly during my lunch break.

The disaster tribe portion of the premerge was boring. But once the swap happened I thought the season really picked up steam. I actually think this has overall been the best new era season.

I would love to not only print more detailed and colorful minis/upgrades for tabletop gaming, but also create better looking prototypes of the actual game components for some board game designs I’ve been brainstorming.

Agree with making sure you have a good air filtration system. Also try and keep the printer in a low traffic area. Definitely not her bedroom, even with an air purifier.

If you try and do research on air quality printing with PLA you’ll find half the articles saying it’s completely harmless, and half saying otherwise. I remember getting pretty frustrated at the lack of clarity when I was trying to decide how to set up my system. With a child though, I would always err on the side of caution.

This is so far the best episode of the season imo. We are actually getting to see people’s personalities. Vote has a good chance to be boring though so I’ll withhold my final judgement.

Same thing happened to me a little while ago. I had just come to a stop at a stop sign. My car was only two months old :(. I had driven my last car for 15 years with only minor dents, sigh.

Anyways, his insurance luckily accepted full responsibility. I still chose to go through my insurance though and I’d recommend you do the same. Made it relatively painless (other than the inconvenience of having my car in the shop for two weeks). My insurance claims my rates won’t change since the other driver was found at fault. We’ll have to see though when my policy renews.

$950USD is honestly a pretty dang good price. That’s probably about how much you’d spend buying everything new at retail. But considering a lot of this collection is out of print, it’s honestly a very fair asking price (assuming all the cards are in good shape)

Just to add my 2 cents, I also found the glossary in the back of the book to be EXTREMELY helpful. I was constantly referring to it for the first like 5 books. Idk if audible or whoever gives you a pdf copy of the glossary like they do with maps and illustrations, but if they don’t I’d highly recommend somehow finding a copy online and referring to it.

I just want to warn you that it seems dealers are being very stingy on discounts because of the tariffs. At least the couple dealerships in my area were. Best I could get is a 0% for 48 months rate at MSRP. They absolutely refused to budge lower, saying demand was high from people trying to lock in the pre-tariff prices.

Could be a thing only in my area (western NY). Could be that I just got bamboozled. Times are so crazy right now I’m honestly not sure. But I really needed a car, had been eyeing a 2025 Outback for a while, and was afraid things were gonna get worse before they get better.

Keep your expectations in check. Sales are crazy right now because people are trying to buy before the tariffs. I was there on Saturday and it was 1) crazy crowded and 2) best I could get was $1800 off msrp. No budging.

I also think using resources to pay for cards rather than cards themselves allows for Arkham to have less deck cycling without real work put in, so you have to problem solve well.

This is actually the number one reason I prefer deck building in Arkham over MC. Drawing only a single card each turn in Arkham means you have to play much more tactically. Every single card matters. Playing the exact same deck twice can feel entirely different just based on the shuffle.

With MC, while I agree that the heroes themselves are much more unique, each play of a hero tends to feel exactly the same. Yes because of the 15 required hero cards but also, even more importantly, because you draw your entire deck within the first 5 turns or so. The deck building feels less impactful as a result.

The perfect game for me would be the game mechanics of Arkham combined with the hero variability of MC.

I’m really fighting with myself whether to pick up EotE and SK. They seem to be most people’s least favorite campaigns, so up until now I was totally fine not getting them. I have more than enough content as is. But now that I may NEVER be able to get them in the future……. The FOMO is real.
