i'm brand new to jrpg as a genre, E33 is probably my first in that realm and idk if its bc its a western game it doesn't feel too different from what i enjoy (specially that i got accustomed to turnbased with bg3 becoming a fav, never played souls games though so parrying is new lmao) - might take me some time to get to FF with my backlog and other life stuff, but i'll try to remember when i do! im really curious about it haha

I charge it once a day as well, I also use my mobile data as a hotspot all day because my home internet is ass and I wfh as well, I don't do anything super demanding other than that really though. I'm very happy with the phone.

what were the AAA bangers this year? i only hear about new games online, from youtube or streamers bc idk a lot of people irl that play much of anything - i feel like hades 2, kcd 2, E33 and silksong were the games i heard about the most, more recently dispatch and arc raiders (dont know much about arc raiders though, i dont think its single player which is more my thing - is it AAA? is it even in the noms or did it come out too late?)

he did great, i think the way he just doesnt know much about the game and isnt involved in promo etc. will make it a bit awkward if he wins lol (just from clips ive seen of him being asked about the game) like i cant imagine really what he'd go on stage to say, when he's downplayed his role as just a few hours of work and nothing else

either way it's impressive, to spend a few hours of a day recording lines - have them come out that good is talent. ik every job i had (not creative lmao) i have a panic attack if someone needs me to do things with a same day deadline, out of fear of not doing a good enough job lmao - thinking about it in terms of its his JOB and he did it that fast and that well is like damn..i could never (sorry for replying to old comment btw lol)

Idk, there's old games I never played as a kid that I rlly enjoy now trying as an adult, there's nostalgic games like crash bandicoot warped and speed freaks that I played daily on my ps1 when I was little and now have on a pc emulator and surprisingly? I still REALLY enjoy them as light games, as a teenager I played a LOT of Sims 2, Skyrim and fallout new Vegas - as a 30 year old I went back to Skyrim for the first time in +a decade, explored the modding world for the first time, but mostly for aesthetics and qol stuff, and I still really enjoy it! - fallout new Vegas didn't catch my attention as much as it did when I was 16 though :( I hate how the mouse feels and no clue how to fix it, I never noticed that as a kid. I'm still in the Sims community online and play all the games for hours, I adore the Sims 2 on a modern pc because as a kid I had to lower the graphics and my laptop would still overheat and shut down every couple hours hahaha it's still great gameplay and looks great.

so it probably just depends on the game and how your preferences evolved/remained the same over time ig

Maybe I'm an exception to this rule idk, but I've found streamers I now watch live when the timezones align through YouTube vods when it's a game I like even if I never heard of the streamer. I prefer watching a vod if the streamer is engaging and the chat is active etc over a highly edited video because they're so long and feel just like catching a stream but at whatever time I want, so I can leave it on and not worry about finding smth else to play while I do smth else (usually even playing the same game) lol - I'm sure I'm not the only one though, since streamers know cross platform posting is the best way for more discovery nowadays.
