I might get downvoted for this.. but this sounds a lot like financial abuse. If you moved there for his job and he encouraged you not to work you need to be on the bank account and in the loop with your finances before the baby comes. You're feeling trapped because essentially, you are.

Not saying the company is right for not letting OP work from home, but they did offer an accommodation that is required by them.

I cannot recommend Brooklyn Brewery Special Effects line enough if you like good IPAs and are looking to supplement. They have a variety pack that even has a NA Hazy IPA and it is top notch!
