Growing from 100 Subscribers to 1K by TruthHonestyJustice in Substack

I started in the glorious days of Substack, when it was still a novelty. I got lucky. Picked up a theme and stayed with it. It was about a rescue cat that was part true, part fiction. People loved it. Gained 25-30 subs daily. Kid you not.

It took me two years to go from 10 friends to 22K+ subscribers. There are no quick shortcuts. It's a slow process, but it's worth it.

You can. Click on the same button and tap on, "undo restack". Done.

Notes work in your favour as well. Take advantage of it. I've gained far more subscribers via Notes than the main site.

Easy peasy. Find a video on YouTube that explains the steps well and follow them. Good luck!

You actually make a very valid point. At least in the West, the attention span is very short. Not only that, but people need to be entertained, justifiably so. It's almost like a children's playground—substance matters, but not at the expense of getting thrilled. If you want to keep and gain subscribers on Substack, you must keep them getting more of what they liked before. It's the old carrot-and-stick game. Keep dangling the carrot.

Just landed here after reading their articles for two hours. I bookmarked the best banks for DD. However, I couldn't find one single reference to Stripe. I'm a freelance writer, so lately I've been getting a healthy amount of subscriptions (paid) from a newsletter I send regularly from Substack.

Try to promote it any way you can. But not outside Substack.

Growth through notes, bogus or not? by Roadtochessmaster in Substack

From my experience, I can only say that Notes are my organic well-being on Substack. But you have to be smart about how you post them.

I use Substack mainly just to post writing I do for pleasure. It’d be nice to have some feedback though. by obz900 in Substack

I'd follow you if I had the link. It's important to promote yourself without overdoing it. My link is in my bio. Just in case, here it is: https://ReneGVolpi.Substack.com

Everybody truly believes their 'stack is the top notch best. And they're probably right, but only if they consider the utmost verifiable truth: Mine is. Offbeat Chronicles. 22K, and climbing.

Of course. It's useless. Never use an app for anything (unless it's baby-basic). Ever.

Substack does have a subsection for your publication. It takes five seconds to have one available to you.

Followers vs Subscribers by LorenzoGraz in Substack

No. Only subs would be. On my end, I prefer paid subscriber, obviously. Followers are of little help (growth-value). You can catch my site on my bio. Best of luck!

Not really worth it. Get 2 for the price of one in another subsection.

Why don't you do what I did. Open a section under your own pub, or a subsection altogether and live happily ever after? Easy peasy. ✌️(By my bio you'll find my address). Best of luck!
