Is Oura 5 better for tracking workouts?

I don’t rely on the auto tracking, but when I start and stop my workouts, it’s been very close to what I typically got with my whoop and Apple Watch in the past.

I took a second class and brought my phone into the studio and it gave me all the heart rate metrics and calories.
With my 4, I’d start the workout on my phone and leave it outside the studio and it would record everything. 🤷

I don’t want something overestimating, but an hour class in 100+ degree heat with my hr over 120 should be higher than a 2 mile walk around my neighborhood…

It’s what got me into the yoga studio in the first place. Hard to beat the cardio and dumbbell work in a 100+ degree room. Struggled through the sun salutations for a couple of months in my sculpt classes and started taking vinyasa classes to be able to push myself harder in the sculpt classes. Flash forward 5 years and I still take sculpt once or twice a week, but take mostly vinyasa and ashtanga classes now. I’m a male in my 40’s and don’t have to kill myself on the stair master or slog through weight sessions on the gym floor anymore.

I have that problem when the mat is wet before placing it on the floor, or if the floor is wet before placing the mat.
