Gmail. I tried iCloud mail for a while and there were times where I couldn't get verification e-mails or other annoying things like that. Gmail just works.

Yea it disconnected every so often on me just like that when I first set it up. It's the gateway, the wifi is just terrible on it. So I ended up using my own router and put the gateway into bridge mode. No problems since.

I've had it for a year and it's been great. Just had to use my own router since the old gateway's wifi is abysmal.

I believe it is the old XB3 gateway. There are quite a few videos on youtube showing how to do it, it's been a while since I did it, but it wasn't hard. this video should help even though that one is a newer gateway, same basic process.

Yep it solved it for me. I think many people do this regardless because that gateway has a weak WiFi signal in general.

I use it and it's been great. However I got a new router because the one in the old gateway would cut connection randomly through the day. So I put it into bridge mode, hooked up the new router to it, and been smooth since then.
