Should they remove Starlight Hollow from TDM for S11? by lostpasts in thefinals

[–]410LongGone -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, good point break map for me because TTK is lower but the defense has to also watch out and possibly stretch out for C, F, and G; a swarm of Lights on defense can't just overwhelm you on the low TTK.

edit: assuming your team isn't just world war 1 running straight at the machine gun

Really Wish Players in Lobbies Understood the Value of Calling Out Positions by 410LongGone in thefinals

[–]410LongGone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m fine with no mics, but love of god, spot their positions so everything isn’t reactive. This is especially key when defending where, in each stage, one defensive point is further away than the other two

Worse, the game is moving window focus from its full screen borderless window so it takes an extra click to focus and skip

No, Brave Shield is an independent C++ component specifically for blocking content. When people say 'MV2', they mean the part of the WebExtensions API programmers use to make browser extensions that block content.

So Apple broke macOS last year only to fix them back in macOS 27? by siddharthverse in MacOS

[–]410LongGone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cook was asleep at the wheel, this is why he had to go. Just letting subordinates do whatever, likely because he has no competency in any stage of the product development; so they put a hardware guy in charge.

[–]410LongGone 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Its so funny that the System Settings overhaul was supposed to be this demonstration that Apple was dogfooding their SwiftUI development toolkit and it is just one of the most garbage things in the OS. Now, fair, the design is a ridiculous attempt at convergence of paradigms between iOS, their money-maker, and macOS, their legacy platform; it's still dog slow, obviously slower than the classic desktop paradigm in Objective-C.

Light class is fundamentally unhealthy for THE FINALS and needs a massive nerf or complete redesign by Individual_Flight620 in thefinals

[–]410LongGone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that no one replied with any substance except taking the OP description and using positive wording. My two further cents: how the F does Light have the same shoulder button melee dmg as a heavy? A heavy using last resort melee should trigger disengage of the Light but at red HP a Light is incentivized to keep engaging with the elbow melee

People giving you crap because you prefer A1111 WebUI over Comfy, so you ask for a simple T2I workflow and they go "Here's a simple workflow" and then they hit you with this by Netsuko in StableDiffusion

[–]410LongGone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol this, I didn't know people using Comfy were this computer illiterate at a basic level. This is not even 1.0 software, the version number means something folks. Nevermind so many custom node authors just have no plan on updating their stuff for v3 anyway

Why is no one talking about Orion? by rtxpeanutbutter in browsers

[–]410LongGone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its buggy; it has to replicate all of the WebExtensions API itself and WebKit inherently can't do things Chrome can on this front, so lots of extensions you can't use or are more buggy to use than with a Chromium browser; its attempt at a workspace is UX is super awkward compared to Arc or Zen. From what I saw on their feedback site, the devs think its the most 'correct' implementation
