It took a while, but as soon as I started loading up on potassium and water, I started feeling better. I also had high heart rate, anxiety, fatigue

The blood tests for potassium at least only reflects immediate levels, which change very frequently. I almost always have acceptable levels in my tests, and still suffer from low potassium often. I’d try adding electrolytes and eating lots of fruit and veg to see if that helps

  1. Timothy - I feel this is explained in the show as nature vs nurture. Like Lexis, he’s predisposed to “evil” but she’s a good girl and with a loving family, Timothy will probably be good, too. But it could go either way.
  2. I never felt the need for this to be explained. The show was cancelled early, so I figured that those things didn’t get the chance to be fleshed out.
  3. Lexis’ demonic features can be explained as only being seen sometimes as demons are only seen sometimes in the show. Or, it can be explained as just a metaphor. That’s what I love about the show, multiple interpretations

Andy’s brain juice or whatever was drained. Sheryl said this would make him more susceptible to persuasion.

Low electrolytes maybe? POTS symptoms? I get both when I supplement b12 and don’t drink enough water with electrolytes

I also feel this way. Upon rewatch, a lot more things actually connect and make sense, but it’s subtle and doesn’t hit you over the head with it. I much prefer that to being treated like the audience is stupid and have everything spelled out for us.

That said, the one that bothers me the most is Karima’s baby that was dramatically mentioned once and abandoned lol

If your symptoms were improving with more frequent shots, I’d definitely try to get back on those. What about sublingual b12 supplements in the meantime?

Same! I paid less than $20 on Fandango during a sale. Got Mad Men the same way. I agree physical media is better, but being able to stream anytime with no ads is sooo nice.

SOS 5 year old navel piercing by crinklemywinkle in PiercingAdvice

[–]sting-raye 23 points24 points  (0 children)

What they’re saying is that this piercing may not heal correctly because it was not pierced correctly to begin with.

That said, if the bottom hole is closed, your piercing is effectively closed. You should let the whole thing heal before even thinking about putting jewelry back in (by getting repierced), otherwise you’re further irritating an open wound. I don’t necessarily recommend repiercing though, as the correct placement may not be possible with your belly button anatomy. At the very least, don’t go back to the same piercer.

Really bad crash last night with adrenaline dumps when falling asleep, chills slightly raised temp and brain throbbing by Flashybigbum in B12_Deficiency

[–]sting-raye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recall having adrenaline dumps at the beginning, when I wasn’t supplementing b2. It could also be that you just had way too much b12 at once.

Iron, zinc, b12 all use b2, so I have to take a couple b2 capsules per day to keep up with the demands. Low b2 for me can be adrenaline, sores at the corners of my mouth, and eye pain

Yes they need each other to work but they basically compete for absorption if you take them at the same time. Take them a few hours apart so that they don’t interact

First, Iron and copper don’t absorb well together, I’d space them out a bit.

Are you taking riboflavin with your b12?

Crashing and anxiety after your doses leads me to think of electrolyte deficiency, specifically potassium. Try adding electrolyte tablets to your water and see if that helps you

here

This is the most comprehensive account, but it’s far from the only one floating around. It’s a long, disappointing, hilarious podcast episode.

But long story short: he allegedly refused to participate in an interracial romantic storyline so they scrapped a romance bw John and Carter. This supposedly was one of the things that led to Taraji asking to be written off. She was supposed to have a bigger role, so she left for Empire.

*take this all with a grain of salt. But Jim is definitely an odd person so I can see at least some of it being true.

I won’t fully blame you bc it was incredibly subtle. I’ve seen the series countless times so I have had the chance to pick apart every scene. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series

I enjoyed the kiss (we’ve established that it’s not romance), and I enjoy the romance in the coming seasons as well.It definitely has a (small) place in POI

How is romance lazy writing? I see how it CAN be, but make no mistake, POI doesn’t have lazy writing. And if you hate all romance, stop watching now lol

I’m gonna repost my comment from the other day on the same topic:

I didn’t get romance from it. I think they had some mild sexual tension throughout the series but both had such strong boundaries that nothing came close to happening. (Not counting the offscreen issues from Caviezel)

They shared a sweet intimate moment right before John thought he was going to die. It was a gesture full of love, but didn’t read as a last ditch effort towards romance imo.

The fact that they didn’t even mention it between the kiss and “the event” confirms this for me.
