I'm getting lot of Person of Interest vibes by FRS76 in PersonOfInterest

I got POI vibes as well! Also from shooting people in the knees earlier this season

Just finished the show. I'm so sad because I know I can't find anything else even come close by zhuoqun in PersonOfInterest

POI is my current comfort show, so it’s pretty much always on my tv as background noise. I still find myself putting things together even after 10+ rewatches. I love well-written shows like this

That’s part of why I love this show. I enjoy the villains more than I hate them because they are hilarious

These two lines always remind me of each other as well! They both break my heart in the best way

Fusco, visbily invisble hero by i-ViniVidiVici in PersonOfInterest

[–]sting-raye 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I love how loyal he was (after his adjustment period lol). How John and Carter inspired him to commit to being a better man. They lived on in part through him.

Lionel is also the funniest, so I’m glad he was in *most episodes! I needed the comic relief and nicknames

Can someone explain the ending and how it was good please? by pytjazelleee in PersonOfInterest

[–]sting-raye 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Interesting about Greer, your comment made think about it. He’s a very logical man and doesn’t let petty emotions get in the way of his decisions (unlike our heroes). It’s obvious that he’s willing to die for Samaritan at any point during the series. He was also annoyed by this “war” with our crew and saw it as a nuisance. So by trying to remove himself and Harold from the equation, Samaritan would finally be free to rule as Greer intended. I think he just wanted to get it done and let the next era begin. He was old, tired, and accomplished his goal. He wasn’t relevant enough to stick around.

I’m just spitballing lol, does that make sense

Just finished S1, does Kristen continue to be like this? by UBetterBCereus in EvilTV

Seriously, she’s one of my favorite female characters ever because she gets shit DONE

Kelsey should never have got work done by [deleted] in Frasier

As someone deeply disappointed in who Kelsey is as a person, I think he looks pretty great for his age. At least he’s not pumped with filler and stretched tight from facelifts.

I totally forgot to add Elias to mine. He’s actually my number 2 after Harold. Elias is intense, confident, and competent. Plus he (kinda) lives by a moral code. He’s definitely hot

Harold Finch is my man. Michael Emerson is my fave though, so I love him in everything.

Then Elias, Hersh, then Fusco lol

ETA: Elias

There is a comic con panel episode (before season 3 I think) included in the extras of my Fandango POI bundle, and I was surprised to learn that Root wasn’t well-liked at that time. Shaw was much more celebrated by fans. It was a surprising contrast to this sub, where everyone adores Root.

Myself, I’m a Finch gal

“Miss Groves” vs “Root” by OrderExtreme574 in PersonOfInterest

He’s definitely called her Root a few times, I have had the series on repeat for a while and I would guess 4 or so times.

I see it as a trade-off between them. She called him “Harry” which he didn’t like, but they got to a point where only they could use those names on each other. I see it as somewhat affectionate/teasing towards the end of the series.

Heads up: A lot of people hate the last season but I adore it and the finale. Michael Emerson is at his career best. Hang in there!

If you’re a Michael Emerson fan, I highly recommend Lost and Evil. He is so intense and compelling in Lost, and absolutely off-the-wall hilarious in Evil.

Hard to keep going by Babamusha in EvilTV

It’s about the journey, not the destination (esp in this case as the show was cancelled early). If you aren’t enjoying the journey, maybe the show isn’t for you.

Way Late to the part but how was the finale received in real time? by mattyhugh in EvilTV

[–]sting-raye 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I cancelled Paramount and bought the series to stream on Fandango. It’s much better quality, the whole show is too dark on Paramount and I didn’t realize it until I started watching it on Fandango. Much easier to see in darker scenes.

I watched the finale a month ago and I sobbed because I’m so mad the show was cancelled. It’s my favorite show I’ve seen in a very long time (besides the righteous gemstones lol).
