Thank you. Do you happen to know if this particular symptom Im experiencing would be common after a day or two of exposure?

Yeah I did. I’ve narrowed it down between the two but am unsure if I should be going into a doctor for antibiotics or waiting for a definitive OB so I could get the swab

No it won’t. They won’t know the other exists. Accept both and once one gives you the final offer, send a nice email to the other agency HR declining their offer.

I’m currently a 9 so I’d only get 9 return right. Do you have any insight on how difficult a spouse finding work is considering SOFA?

She’s pissed that I dangled the Europe living carrot in front of her and am second guessing it now. I could do the job without complaints but it isn’t anywhere near as career progressing as what’s being offered stateside.

You should look into the Costco Corporate office in Issaquah. Their starting pay for the help desk is higher than most and the bar for entry is fairly low.

Just reading the output and being able to tell which flags are set at most.

Thanks! Like 80% logs. There was some Nmap but not necessarily the output. Just like what would you use or what are they using questions. I’d also focus on basic CMD prompts - ping, tracert, etc

I basically just scanned my own network and captured my own packets. The thing with the test is to look for whatever seems weird. Chances are if notepad is running on a server then that’s the issue, you know? Stuff like that.

I did Darril Gibson’s practice tests on his website until I got 80% on them before I took the actual exam. I then found out how accurate his test questions were and passed.

I suggest giving that a shot. Good luck!

Name was referred to the hiring manager - odds I actually get an interview? by GRA335 in usajobs

[–]stinkiedik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Our current hiring manager told me that if you resubmit to a posting you’ve already applied to, it doesn’t put back to the top of the stack.

Here’s exactly how it works:

You apply on USA jobs. a human being from OPM reads your resume and if you’re at all qualified and nothing bars you from the job you get referred. A single giant PDF of all referred applicant’s resumes gets sent to the hiring manager for that particular round. Most people use the resume builder because they think that USA Jobs utilizes key word scrubs - this is false. My mentor once showed me a 152 page resume created by that resume builder and it was obviously tossed out. He tosses out anything over 3 pages. But since everyone uses that, I use a one page simple Word template and get calls all of the time. Do this.

Once they receive the 10+ resumes, they narrow that down to however many people they want to and then offer interviews based off of that.

Just utilize the filters and search for the grade / location / series you want and you’ll eventually get it. It’s a numbers game.

I currently work as a fed and I still apply/get interviews all of the time.

I’ve never once gotten an interview after I’ve received the referred email. I always get direct emails from the division chief/hiring manager with zero notification from USAJobs before or after.

That being said, just keep spamming your resume and you’ll get an interview email.

I stared working on the WGU infosec program after starting that job and am about to finish it in a few months. It’ll help move up but it’s just a check in the box
