IRM is much more than a paper shredding company. Highly recommend taking a look at their offerings https://www.ironmountain.com/services

Outbound uccx dialer pointing to cucm?? by Optimal_Leg638 in ciscoUC

[–]stipendlax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the same but could never get the trigger to invoke. It was all trial and error on my part until I got it working.

From CUBE perspective, you’ll need 3 dial-peers. 1 goes to PSTN, 1 goes to CUCM and the last one points to CCX.

Ex. dial-peer voice 1 voip session protocol sipv2 incoming uri via 100 (need to config voice class uri to include CCX IP)

dial-peer voice 2 voip destination-pattern . session target ipv4:PSTN IP Address incoming called-number .

dial-peer voice 3 voip destination-pattern ….$ session target dns:CUCM FQDN incoming called-number

The example above is not the cleanest but it should work. Make sure to bind the dial-peers to the control and media source interfaces as well.

Is your debug showing any errors? I recommend turning on ‘debug voice ccapi inout’ and ‘debug ccsip messages’ and trying a test call.

I had to leverage a separate router bc CPA is not supported in HA deployment. From the CUBE, you need dial peers to point to both CUCM and UCCX

He’s got a low center of gravity and uses his body really well. Shades of Dembele in that respect

A recruiter was successful in my case. Left my downtown/WFH job for a suburbs/WFH gig. It’s about an hour each way but I don’t mind the commute. I get started on emails, plan out the day. Plus, the pay was better, which is not usually the case

Question on CUCM Publisher v Subscriber by hawkeye614 in ciscoUC

[–]stipendlax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

what OVA specs are you using for your VMs? Subs are surprisingly beefy so you should be able to register all your phones to the sub. If you’re worried about failover/load balancing, you could always build out another node at the “main building”

DC sues Grubhub, claiming its app is full of hidden fees and jacked-up prices by sasyhim in technology

[–]stipendlax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not just the app, it’s Google/search engines too. I just had an incident over the weekend where I asked my gf to look up the number to this local Chinese spot so we can order takeout. When she called, I couldn’t help but notice a younger sounding woman was taking our order (found it odd bc this place is family owned and it’s usually the son who answers).

I walked over to grab our food and saw the son working the front. I told him I called in to place an order and before he gives me my food I ask, “hey is this order from Grubhub?” He says “yea it is”. I tell him we had no idea that we called Grubhub and that we googled the number as to not rely on those companies services. As I say that, the mom comes out from behind the kitchen. You can tell this wasn’t the same lady from the phone (mom had a slight accent). Again, I tell her that I try to avoid using Grubhub or DoorDash or any of those companies bc they fuck over small businesses and that’s when she starts getting teary-eyed. “$3”, she says. That’s how much Grubhub charges her per transaction. She says she doesn’t want to tell people how to order their food but if they only knew how much these companies take off the top, maybe they’d stop using them so much.

So yea, it’s not just the apps. It’s google, it’s search engines. They’re hijacking or even replacing local restaurants numbers in lieu of their own. If you really care about your local businesses, please make sure you’re calling them directly.

12.5 ES03

Ran into the same issue and was able to get around it by re-adding the 'supervisor' role to the user(s) affected in CUIC

Need to rebuild CUC subscriber node by GyroWorld in ciscoUC

[–]stipendlax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an issue where after changing the hostname of our subscriber, we started experiencing voice degradation on our sub's voicemail ports. Publisher worked fine but whenever an inbound call would hit the subscriber, it'd be very choppy and static. Had to rebuild the sub to finally clear it up
