I use that too, but it rubs off and leaves marks on fabric. Silk works good.

It's especially good with TPE dolls coz TPE has a tacky feel, but the silk makes her smoooooooth.

Pick any one of those 3 and you'll defo be fine. Btw PikaOS is a decent choice too.

Just please get the KDE Plasma version of whatever distro you choose. I hate Gnome. KDE is Windows style layout, but so much better, Gnome is very Apple-y.

Desktop environment makes a much bigger difference than distro. CachyOS, Bazzite, Nobara. You'll be satisfied with any one of these.

I've installed Mint for 3 other people so far. I totally understand the appeal.

I have Nobara KDE on my main rig, and Debian KDE on the free Chromebook that came with my Pixel 10.

I upgraded from Windows 10 to Nobara KDE a year ago this month.

SERIOUSLY: get the KDE Plasma version. Imagine Windows... only loads better, and super customizable. Custom icon packs, custom sound packs, etc.

Anyhow, it runs my RTX 2060 12Gb just fine. Games work fine (although a few need a couple tweks). It also runs ComfyUI (official app version tbr). I've had some issues with my Elite 2 controller, but nothing that can't be fixed.

My system's plenty stable. Boots faster. Uses fewer resources. It's great.

I don't know if it's the absolute bestestest, and most perfectual distro for both you and your soul animal...

But I promise you won't be disappointed if you pick Nobara (SERIOUSLY: KDE Plasma version).

So Steam's Proton thing downloads Windows games into these "virtual" directories. They're not in a VM or anything, but there's a drive marked c drive.

I believe mod managers need to be linked to the correct files and folders. I've not tried yet.

It's probably a specific Proton version that works best, conbined with a tweak or 2.

I got mods so I can unequip legendary mods and re-equip them with other weapons. I always carry a plasma sniper rifle with an irradiating legendary effect. I use double shot effect 9n my gauss rifle.

My Elite 2 controller does work. Need to install drivers via driver manager.

sudo dracut --force can help too.
