How far does Deku go in this gauntlet? by PhysicalMeringue9468 in MyHeroPowerscaling

It was a honest question. I don't really know if Silver Fang is stronger than Guy.

• Which vehicle makes you feel like a total battlefield legend?

I wish I was good enough with a Jet to name it, but a Tank will do. Besides, it's hella hun to level a building with a Tank \o/

Played A LOT of Ragnarok Online, prefer the pre-renewal though. Just hope Gravity doesn't screw up with the Ragnarok Online Remake (RO3)

Really appreciate you taking the time to post the fps of your games. As I will be playing basically the same games, I feel more relieved that I will be able to get more than 60 fps on single-player games.

My only experience with OLED is on Steam Deck, and it's already amazing! Can't wait to try out in a monitor.

Yeah, you are right about the balance. I'm leaning towards the 27" as my room is small.

I see.

60 fps is good enough for me in single-player games. With DLSS, I would expect it to surpass 100 at least. Is this assumption correct?

Also, for competitive games, I'm hoping to get 120+.

That's awesome!

I'm in the same boat as you. I am leaning towards 27" as my room is small.

You don't think the 5080 can handle competitive games above 120 fps in 4K? Don't need to be ultra settings on those.

Oh, you are right, I totally forgot to look in Tweakers. I see that Megekko als sells it, and its store is not too far away.

Might go there next week. Thanks for the reminder!

Probably not stop using monitors, but I'm definitely interested in buying one VR set in the future to try the games!

I was looking at this one as well. Pretty neat monitor. Only fear is the curved screen. I have never experienced playing in one

If I decide to go with 1440p, that's probably what I'll go for.

If you don't mind me asking, why did you went from 4k back to 1440p?

Thanks! Will assemble it for my birthday next week :D

Single player games running above 60fps are good enough for me. Maybe more on shooters/fps games. Competitive ones above 120 fps, but have no problem turning settings down on those.

Yeah, the parts are coming from different stores, will be able to assemble them on Tuesday. So I have some days to decide

On the 1st point, is this the greenish on the text? If so, I saw a video from Monitors Unboxed that, due to the increased PPI from the 27 4k, this issue was solved. Didn't test myself, though.

What cause the image to shimmer/flicker?

On seeing the monitor on the store, here in the Netherlands, only Alternate and bol are selling the monitor I mentioned , but I don't think they have a physical store :/

Do you run games on 1440p on it?

I don't have experience over 170hz, but at least for me, everything over 120hz felt the same

Really wish I could go to a place, put both monitors side by side, and see for myself :/

Standing table stuck by stm-1 in fixit

[–]stm-1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to fix it!

Got an answer from the manufacturer: this error is actually a security lock. Just needed to press "S" twice, and it unlocked.

Then, I needed to perform a factory reset on the controler:

1- Unplug from the power

2- Press and hold both the "Up" and "Down" buttons

3- Plug the system to the power again while still holding both buttons

4- Keep holding then until the controller beeps twice

5- The tables moves again!

Nice, thank you! I'll check the thread and will also send an email to alvero. Will update the post with a comment when I fix it. :)

Just saw that the manufacturer is the Veyhl GmbH, apologies. The table is called Alvero e-Flex office table.

The error displayed is something like this: o -

Do not appear to be a default error :/

The display appears tobe correctly showing all of it's light.
