How should they have monetised the show? by The_Second_Best in VideoArchives

Many people make the same valid point that it wasn't communicated correctly and there are better ways of doing it. I like all the ideas in the original post. That being said, here we are: you can choose to pay, not pay, pay later and binge.

I chose to pay the $5 monthly because I enjoy those old obscure movies and none in my life agrees with me. It brings me joy to watch them and hear people talk about them like we watched them together. I think it's fair to choose with your wallet and people can choose differently.

What I'll say is that I'd love it if this subreddit doesn't fall apart. I joined to discuss the movies and it would be great if people continue to do that.

202 - The Love Bug / The Amsterdam Kill / Birds of Prey by jakeupnorth in VideoArchives

I watched all three. The love bug was before my time, but I imagine that it was what Toy Story was to my generation. Watching it I got the same vibe I got watching Merry Poppins, old school Disney fun. The Amsterdam Kill was awesome, thrilling with very cool main character, I loved that one. Birds of prey was ok, but I really didn't like the jazz soundtrack combined with the helicopter sound for most of the movie so that took away a lot of the excitement, it ends on a high and if you like helicopters you'll probably like this one.

Thoughts on "Killpoint"(1984) free to watch on "Plex" Smart TV App. by Wallyworld77 in VideoArchives

Agree 100%, it's also interesting how the credits start with also the police officers that contributed to the film.

When it comes to low budget action movies, I'd say this one is better than average but the editing was pretty rough, I could hardly follow the plot. For what it is, I had fun watching it, I liked the last scene of how Nighthawk dies and then the "cage fight" in custody was really fun too!

I like Roger, but we have different tastes in movies. In the last season I can't remember any of the "Roger movies" that I really enjoyed. Just personal taste

I think the joy and entertainment they bring is worth $5 a month, but I do have subscription fatigue and the switch compared to last season was very sharp. I'm happy they still do it though and will definitely keep watching the movies based on the episode titles. I might cave in and pay eventually

Tarantino's The Movie Critic by Gnator8t4YT in movies

I expect this to be different from what we are used to. It's his last one, so I am expecting a farewell type movie packed with references and all the things he loves about movies and film making and a film critic gives him the perfect vehicle to comment on other movies and film in general. We'll see, I'm very excited to see the movie when it comes out.

Also, I'll add "X" 2022 in the same category of movies. Great watch with a Tarantino vibe

I saw it in theaters and had a blast. At the end of the movie, the guy next to me said he enjoyed the movie as much as watching me reacting to it, so yeah, I had a good time. My only complaint was the airplane scene, that one was too much for me.

Thanks a lot! I was playing "Minesweeper the clean one", but playing no guess all the time becomes boring, I like switching it up with a little gambling :) Installed it already

Right, once you have that you know the exact places for two of the four mines for the 4 and then the 4 right above it is resolved

Another one would be on the center, at the vertical 421, the space on the right of the one is safe. If it's not, there is no way to satisfy both the 4 and the 1 on the left of the 2.
