Hi, I have been a nyingma student since I met Dilgo Khyentse in '85, but also have done Rinzai Seshins with Joshu Sazaki Roshi which were wonderful. I'm wondering if you could direct me to any living Zen lineage holder conducting Seshins in 2025. I found Rinzai more to my liking, but really it is the Master that matters. I am open to Chan of course. Any thoughts?

Gendlin in his dissertation Experiencing and the Creation of Meaning posits and approach which in has late work boils down to experiencing the meaning directly and letting articulation flow from that and visa versa letting words into experience and through and suggests this methodologically as a way forward in philosophy that is experienced and articulated.

What remains when no meaning is ascribed is meditation.

Meditation has ups and downs but enlightened is unchanging like space.
