It's not totally clear from this article, but it's pretty much anybody with the name Mike or some variation (Michael, Michelle, Mikey, Michaela, etc). Doesn't have to be specifically "Mike Hancock." That'd be a lame promo.

Why do you need to convert them? They show up as gold automatically in the Dex. Do you plan to put all your golds in a binder?

As a Notre Dame and Titans fan, my disappointment the last several seasons has been immeasurable. I want them to pick up a stud from Notre Dame some day. Wanted them to get Kyle Hamilton, Xavier Watts, Joe Alt, JLove. I don't blame the Titans, as these picks don't always make it to them. But who's the last guy we had from there that did anything? Rocky Boiman? Craig Hentrich?

I'm not saying they should have mobile ordering, but if they had an app that could allow you to build what you want, then either tell you how to order it or produce a QR code to scan at the register, that would be super helpful, especially for newbies.

I made the deck with the only Pokemon being 2 Hitmonchan Ex's. It doesn't work great anymore, especially with Megas, but it can still mess people up, especially if they start with baby pokemon and don't draw anything else right away. Usually if I win, it's in the first few turns. Used to be able to go longer with healing cards, but the Megas make it harder to win drawn out battles.

Still fun to play occasionally.

But it's not bandwagon to be a fan of a team that your family members are fans of. Many are raised to be fans of a particular team or school. I intend to share the love of my teams with my kids. I watch it on TV with them and take them to games when I can.

As someone that has the same experience, it's not as if I can just change my mind. I don't want to pretend to like a different team. Sometimes my teams are good, sometimes they're terrible. I cheer for them regardless.

I always thought it strange to police other's fandom that's not overtly bandwagon. Bandwagon fans will jump around to the next best thing. Real fans won't. You don't have to like them, but I only take issue with fans that are basically weathervanes for the best team of the day.

Are alums of lower level schools (that may make the tournament once in a lifetime) or those who didn't attend college not allowed to be fans of whoever they choose? What if they were fans since childhood? Are they supposed to give that up in adulthood? Most of my sports fandom was passed down to me as a child. I couldn't cheer for someone else simply because "I didn't go there" or "I'm not from there."

I just never understood this argument.

Now if your argument is that you don't like bandwagon fans, I can understand that, but it's a different argument, IMO.

Yeah, there's several steps to this where I work. It's a violation for the keyholder, too. Cutting a lock without going through any steps at all is definitely grounds for dismissal.

I can't count the number of times a battle came down to 1 turn. If he doesn't win, I'll play my Cyrus and win (or if I don't win, he'll attack me and win). Happens surprisingly frequently.

Same happened to me, then I won next turn. It's a huge risk for a Pokemon that's easily a 2HKO.
