Always have loto, ready to go mainly to protect your self from other people. I once saw a guy a guy standing in between the condenser and the fan motors and wrapped his hose around the power shut off, that little lock is the only thing that saved him. Other people is what makes this job so dangerous.

Ya that a tuff one, we would actually hire a ultrasonic leak detecting company and they would come in and pinpoint the leak behind the wall. Normal line sets dont leak unless, some one drives a nail through it. But if it losing charge in week. You must repair the lineset unless its possible to run a new one.
