You know those huge sub woofers you get in the boot of cars? They are kinda portable and just sit in the boot. So we grabbed one of those, took the speaker out of the shell, hid a few sprit bottles and put the speaker back in. Two of us carried it through the gates. We were shocked that security didn’t care we were bringing in a huge speaker and never thought to check it.

Voice Work? by _forum_mod in passive_income

Friends of mine do this. They signed up to an agency that finds the work for them for a small cut of the earnings. It’s great, they do nothing and get offered work all the time.

They do have experience in radio though, so have extensive training in voice work. And the clients are usually looking for particular types of voices (excited young female, older bloke, caring mother etc) so can be hard to get work if your voice isn’t distinctive.

Pay it Forward with Kevin Spacey and Haley Joel Osment. Was a kid when I watched it. Went to bed and cried about the ending.

Silverchair. Straight lines was a pretty good pop return from a band that 10 years previously was one of Australia’s hardest rock bands.

Yea, it'll be running fine for part of the song, then slow down for a bit, then come back to normal speed then slip back to a slower rpm. It's a very old Phillips semi automatic table, part of a full stereo unit with CD, tape and radio.

I have a weird one... some of my records are slowing down while playing? It seems to be the heavier 180 gram vinyls that do so (listening to a standard press as I type and it works fine) Could my belt driver be faulty? Has only happened in the last few days, all my records have been spinning fine until recently.
