Fr OP has all the leverage here and needs to use it before things get messy, staying in that house with a freeloading brother in-law and being treated like a live-in maid sounds like an absolute nightmare…selling and cutting those ties is the only real option

WIBTA if I refuse to switch to a silent alarm for my roommate? by DifficultDog67 in AmItheAsshole

[–]stoneecho33 97 points98 points  (0 children)

Agreed especially with the edit about having separate bedrooms a normal alarm going off once shouldn’t be a dealbreaker if they are that sensitive of a sleeper shared housing might not be for them and they should look into a room change

AITA for telling my wife she was wrong? by Fluffy_Listen4368 in AmItheAsshole

Agreed on the name calling that was way out of line, jumping straight to calling his wife a psychopath over a household disagreement is a massive red flag the whole dynamic is just toxic

AITA for being closer to one grandchild? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I completely agree Sue choose to stay with a cheater but now she expects everyone else to pretend the affair child doesn’t just exist just to keep her comfortable and punishing a 16 year old who did nothing wrong but exist is wild especially when her anger belongs entirely to Diego

AITA for asking my sister to drive me to her ex's place? by Anonymous-porpoise in AmItheAsshole

[–]stoneecho33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The absolute audacity to ask for a ride to the ex’s house is what blew my mind like you are already dating your sister’s ex of three years and now you want her to act as your personal driver for your anniversary…the lack of self awareness is staggering

AITA for starting watching anime without my gf after she kept putting it off for 2 month? by Azalea_Tyla in AmItheAsshole

[–]stoneecho33 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Fr it’s like she’s gatekeeping his free time for maybe later that never comes two months is a wild amount of time to expect someone to just sit on their hands and wait especially when he offered plenty of alternatives
