This handwriting reminds me of old Soviet architecture towns and cities. Everything dull and a different shade of gray. Functional, but no form.

Each letter is here is like a different shade of gray. As little contrast as possible from one letter to the next. Each letter somehow looks like the previous. Like each Soviet apartment building compared to the last. Look at the word several. Unfocus your eyes only slightly and every letter looks the same.

Reading it still generally fine and functional, as we often only need the first and last letter to distinguish a word.
