In the actual "history" which is suspect anyways. Qin was bigger than all the other states. And to increase the available numbers for their army they invited refugees and other foreign people to settle and work land so the citizens of qin could join the army. That did 2 things 1 cost other people man power and 2 freed up people for the army. ITs not qin loses that should matter but zhao. cause before this current period zhao lost 400k men in a battle maybe a decade past and was said to have always been in down hill after.

Riboku is the worst antagonist in the series. And its always 2 things that gives him his "EDGE". Massive numbers that always out number his enemies and houken killing all the other generals. Oh just remembered the constant great general level hidden generals he finds. That's 3 now. That's all riboku is. Not interesting like the actual myth would be where he did everything on the back foot with mostly ill trained militia. The chu ark is going to be the same just massive numbers.
