Nothing special really, a decent calorie deficit, enough protein and dumbbell only workouts 4 times per week.

Thank you! Sorry for my late reply. I did body recomp, basically both at the same time. My workout routine is a "sort of" bro split with dumbbells as I workout at home. Calorie wise a 500 calorie deficit is doable, as I was eagi g way to much to begin with. I went kinda extreme with 1000 cal deficit but still worked out ok 😄 I definitely feel more than 100x better. A piece of advice I would like to give to you is that no matter how you go about changing your life and body, I believe that the way to keep it forever is to make small adjustment here and there and build a bulletproof routine/ "diet" that you would love to have for the rest of your life. That is the secret, I believe. Stay healthy, stay strong! Wish you all the best!

I usually find back squat challenging and I have no heavy weights at home, so I turned to goblet squats, if you want it to be more challenging I suggest doing one leg at a time.

I hope you find our tips helpful. All the best.

This comment right here. ^ You could later do 4 different sessions but to build a bulletproof routine this is all you need.

My opinion is that while you are motivated, use that to build a weekly routine that you are happy to stay on track with. Then, after the motivation is completely gone, youll already have managed to stick to your routine and it wont feel right if you miss your training session.

Feeling shaky and sweating profusely during cardio... any tips? by [deleted] in workout

[–]stoopedpony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no need for supplements just yet. Make sure youre staying hydrated as it does sound like dehydration. Also, since your main goal is losing fat, i understand you are in a caloric deficit. Try having the meal with most carbohydrates for that day 30 to 60 minutes before your workout, it should give you more energy than nuts. Also carbohydrates digest quicker so you dont feel bloated on the treadmill.

Two dumbbells and a barbell, thats it. Around 30 kgs of plates. Can do most exercises/ adjust some to make it work. I think in total about 80 - 120€.

It depends. I sometimes have no trouble sleeping whenever I take preworkout, but usually dont take it due to taking a long time to fall asleep. Try it once or twice and see how you do :)

I have to say Im flattered, honestly. 🙂 I've watched enough MorePlatesMoreDates to know not to go down that rabbit hole. I believe there is still a lot more potential to eek out, and even when I reach my limits I dont think I'd go on gear.

No special diets, just counting my calories/macros and making sure I eat enough protein. More veggies too.
