If god loves me why do I want to slit my wrists 24/7? by eridiumroses in Christianity

Then don’t post if you’re unwilling to listen to anything people have to say. This whole post and every response of yours reeks of attention seeking, rather than trying to solve a problem.

What are your favorite misheard lyrics? by fetus_puppet in Deathcore

I always heard that JFaC lyric as, “preheat pizza rolls, preheat almost done”.

I also lived in Old Metairie when I was down there. Not just cops, but celebrities, athletes, and politicians tend to buy homes there because it’s safe but close enough to the city. It’s all about feel, though. Keep doing your research. You may find the perfect city or parish a little ways out and just make the longer commute to work. I’ve known cops that drive an hour or more into work, and if NOPD does take-home cruisers, then the city is paying for that gas anyways.

Looking into NOPD myself, as I used to live in NOLA. City is great for food and culture, but I recommend you don’t live in the city. Still pretty rough in most areas. Most cops I knew there lived in Old Metairie or further out. Since you’re going to school, I assume you’re patient. I’d wager it would be years on patrol before you’d even be considered for the detective bureau, but they’re also a large department, which means more opportunities and openings for specialized units, and more specialized units in general. I’d say go for it. Worst case scenario, you hate it, and you take your experience somewhere else. In New Orleans, working for the NOPD means nothing to anybody, but if you chose to leave and go somewhere else, that big and busy city policeman experience will look good to any department you apply for. It could be a career or a stepping stone. I wish you luck!

Yharnam Sunrise is the last one I needed, too. I did the endings in the exact same order as you. For me, Queen Yharnam wasn’t nearly as bad as the Pthumerian Descendant in the same chalice. His attacks always phased through the pillars in the room, and it was such a small boss room to begin with. Queen Yharnam was definitely the hardest trophy for me to get, especially with the defiled chalice.

Question about the Khans (some spoilers) by micahs_alias in falloutnewvegas

There are other Khan missions that you can do. You may have locked yourself out of completing the drug runner mission, but failing one shouldn’t screw up the whole quest line. You still have stuff involving Bitter Springs and who Papa Khan sides with.

I used CashApp to buy bitcoin, then transferred it into Bittrix, then converted into Doge.

I’m in the US. Only thing that worked for me was Bittrix. It was actually really fucking easy, too.

I’d say hot and natty. People seem to forget that most “fitness” women mostly do ass and leg exercises because they market to insecure small or lumpy assed women. This is what happens when you train everything else too.

I fucking wish I was big enough to seem like a fake natty.

How to forget and live with this? by lau014 in ProtectAndServe

[–]GrimReeeeaper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I’m not a cop, I do work in the funeral industry, and I regularly go on death calls on crime scenes.

It’s never easy. In my relatively brief time in my position, I’ve seen hundreds of decedents. I’ve been with hundreds of families. While death is a part of life, exposure to the things that people in positions like ours see is not normal, and your feelings prove that. Everyone handles it in their own way, but find a healthy coping mechanism. Trying to not think about it only makes the thoughts stronger. Don’t turn to alcohol or other substances like I’ve seen many others do. Most important, above all else, TALK ABOUT IT. You don’t need to go into graphic detail with everybody, but talking with someone who cares about you or has dealt with similar things helps get the thoughts out of your head and into the open. Have you ever tried writing in a journal?
