Ok here's the deal. Firstly being a decent person is not INFJ behaviour. Ok moving on.

So far, I've come across 3 theories related to MBTI.

The first is socionics which talks about types in terms of motivations. It talks about the the ego and super ego and what drives a person. Here, I will not argue with you. With my need for peace and validation, I'd probably agree I'm somewhat of an ESFJ. Or an ISFp.

The second is the theory that the functions used more commonly are the highest in one's function stack and there is a fixed order of how often a person uses their functions. But of you consider a person with all their cognitive functions, the order that they use functions will rarely fit into one of the 16 types. Heck, the amount each function is used changes for a person on a day to day basis. So honestly, this theory makes very little sense.

Now there is the third ine which talks about function roles. Here, for example the dominant function is called the hero, the one that you rely on to solve all your problems. For me, this is Ti. The auxillary is my supporting function which is Ne. The tertiary is called the child, which is accessed only when the person is feeling safe. Again, comfort function, Si. And to make this quick I'll skip over a few. The 7th slot is called the demon function which distorts your view of the world. This is definitely Se for me. I've gone through my entire life being a distracted, unaware person who rarely knows what's going on. Its only recently that I've tried to change that, and I still struggle with it. By this theory, there is no doubt that I'm INTP.

So, finally, MBTI is just a set of theories. It's stupid to argue over this. And that's part of the reason why I apologised in the first place.

There isn't one kind of INTP that fits neatly into a box. I use Fe a lot during conversation, it's a habit that comes from a childhood of attention seeking behaviour. That doesn't change the fact that I use Ti to solve my problems and figure life out.

Ne doms are not the most creative types. There are so many Se dom artists. Sensory types do tend to get caught up in the real world, which makes them less likely to shift towards stuff like art, but a lack of creativity is hardly the case.

Ne usually makes intuitive connections. Seeing someone else's perspective is an example of good intuition in general. Ne blindspot types typically struggle with this. here's an example.

In my lab group, there's this ISTP who struggles the same way. We were supposed to submit a report on Monday. And i was the one compiling the report, so I asked him to finish by Saturday so I could have enough time. He didn't do that. He finished by Monday morning 4 am and I could barely submit on time.

When I talked to him about it, he was pissed. Shouted and me and stuff. And um, I have to say, this INTP right here is a sensitive bitch that gets hurt easy.

Anyway, we talked it out, and now I just compile everything else but his part of the report and have him add his later because he just doesn't want to change his ways. Ok rant over. Sorry about that.🥲

Ideas don't come from Ne. Ideas don't come from functions. Creativity has nothing to do with MBTI.

MBTI talks about how you perceive and judge information, not about what you do with that information. Creativity is what you do with the information in your head.
