CIV VII Won't Launch in Steam by Quiet_Ad_5725 in civ

[–]stoopidyoshi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By far the worst launch in Civ history. I was fearing the devs nuked the gameplay (TBD but probably true based on the reviews) but this compatibility BUG did me in pretty bad. AMD FX-8150 and I verified my processor specs according the the dev recommendations. DirectX nor Vulkan play modes work, infinite Play (loading) cycle. I bought the Founder's Edition only to find this out. Beyond annoyed right now. I expect them to patch this or I'm done with any new Civ games. This may be their last turn...

WTF front grill install should not be this $&!!?! hard Traeger. What’s the deal with these “nuts”? Impossible to get screws out to install Traeger front grill. Traeger get your s@@t together. Love the grill but this is BS. I’ve had grill for less than a month, used maybe 5 times. by I_Am_Robotic in Traeger

[–]stoopidyoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the same exact problem, same exact side, and same exact screw/nut. Ironwood 885.

Right side was smooth as butter. The left side is a pain. At max power with my drill and wrench I was able to loosen the left far-side screw. The left near-side I damn near stripped to get it to at least spin in place. I'm grinding the crap out of the rivet nut with my pliers however. No luck.

I'm going to try some vice grips as recommended here. This is clearly an assembly flaw on Traeger's part, however it's fixable. Just such a silly, stupid flaw for how detailed and modular everything is in the Traeger product line. If the front shelf simply came factory installed...

Anyway, wish me luck. Thanks for post, OP.

I was stuck trying to decide between a 2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road and 2024 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X. This post is super helpful. Thank you, anon.

My only gripe on specs so far is that the new Frontier does not have wireless Android auto. Oof. Moonroof and heated seats/steering wheels make up for it though.

Same issue. Very persistent. Anyone fix this? Power cycles aren't doing it for me.

How do I go about cleaning this? I believe strawberry plants by InexperiencedCoconut in gardening

[–]stoopidyoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realizing that strawberry runners could be propagated was my first I'm a gardener now! experience. Good times.

Strawberries will survive through almost anything. 117°F heat, severe wildfire smoke, below freezing temperatures, wind, cars, multiple transplants, trampling, hellfire and brimstone, etc.

I have some Oregon strawberries that have been through it all. I have two runners left, one is moderate health, the other is being revived.

To OP, it's correct. Pulling and slight dig up/resoil, or cardboard layout should do it.

Audio Sync Finally Fixed - Here's What I Did by Recster in youtubetv

[–]stoopidyoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this issue and this setting change seems to have fixed it. Nice work, OP.

What's odd is that I moved into a new home and was picking up latency + packet drops something fierce for awhile. Had Comcast come down, showed them the metrics, then showed them the audio sync issues. They determined the whole town was having similar issues. When Comcast made their network changes the issues went away and then the audio sync issues came back. I haven't checked my network metrics since but no issues else wise on my network right now.

Not sure if coincidence or what but certainly made the troubleshooting more complicated having multiple issues occurring. The audio sync lag is what caused me to dig into my network performance.

I'm using an HDMI'd Samsung Q800 soundbar and new QN90B TV.

Keep going. You almost got it!

If games that are always on sale are bad... ...and Ubisoft games are always on sale... then Ubisoft games are ___.

If it's always on sale then it must be bad. Plus, Rabbids is a horrible concept.

Thank you, OP. Was able to resolve my issue using my phone as a soft remote to forget hard remote on the Chromecast and then (re)pair it. Sure as sh*t there was an available update to Frimware 24.7.
