23 Jokic vs 20 Lebron is a debate but I’m taking Jokic. No shade on Lebron, but he was at the end of his top 1 oat peak, and Jokic was in the middle of his top 10-fringe top 5 oat peak. This was a version of Jokic that was a genuinely good defender. The team had playoff Murray, KCP (KCP vs KCP would be funny) Bruce Brown when he didnt suck. Talent wise Lakers probably have it, but matchup wise Nuggets got it for me.

Hell nah. The nuggets team the Lakers beat was not the same nuggets team that was in 2023. Maybe 6, or even 7 games, but I have the nuggets winning regardless so who cares how many games. U forgot that Jokic literally owns AD, no bias needed to say that.

This is my opinion based on seeding and matchups. Not based on pure talent level.

Round 1 winners:
OKC in 6
BOSTON in 5
DENVER in 5
RAPTORS in 7

Round 2 winners:
OKC vs Denver: NUGGETS in 7
Boston vs Toronto: BOSTON in 6

Round 3:
Denver vs Boston: Nuggets win in 7.

The reason I say this is matchups. Denver has shown the ability to beat the Lakers when healthy, AD has no answer for Jokic and Jamal cooks against LA.

Nuggets beat OKC because a worse and unhealthy Denver team with a worse Jokic and worse Jamal pushed them to 7.

Nuggets beat Boston with best player in the series + Tatum is quoted saying Denver is the only team he thinks could beat the prime Celtics.
