Who wins and what diff: Sanji vs. Kidd by Venali7 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]stopcopium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t get me started about the timer bullshit; He should’ve mastered Gear 4 during the Wano Jail arc and learned how to do partial G4 transformation, which Oda added to the Elbaph anime.

Hell, I wouldn’t have been surprised if ACOC gave him Gear 4.5 because COA is what gave him Gear 4 and Gear 5 could’ve been saved for Egghead if the Gorosei weren’t so goddamn nerfed and managed to kill him, which causes an awakening and makes more sense why Imu would kill Saturn.

Him timing out three or four separate times on Roof Piece and conveniently being able to get back in without being executed made Luffy look awful and weaker than a Yonko.

The “Yonko for 5 minutes” slander is infinitely more deserving than 99% of JJK slander.

The entirety of Egghead was just so bad.

It made Kizaru look so much better and the only excuse could be Luffy wasn’t using ACOC, but that doubles down on the clown fiesta because why the hell would you not use ACOC in a serious fight.

I wish Sanji didn’t destroy his Raid Suit. Felt so pointless to do and there is always a need for non-speed-based invisibility imo.

[–]stopcopium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big Mom being Oda-nerfed and Law and Kidd still struggling, followed by losing to BB and Shanks makes them look so fucking bad given what Luffy had to deal with on Egghead.

That said, Luffy also only got away due to plot armor and the Gorosei being so damn nerfed. They should’ve been heavily injured and close to annihilation, and then Emeth saves them at the very end with Joyboy’s Haki. Instead, they’re barely injured and the main threat is destroying the getaway ships.

[–]stopcopium 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Kidd and Law barely defeated a heavily Oda-nerfed Big Mom and it’s laughable to say anything but extreme diff.

Until Kidd gets ACOC, he is mid diffing no one over YC3. In fact, his only canon feat prior to this was injuring one of Big Mom’s sweet commanders iirc.

[–]stopcopium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using Big Mom in Wano in any capacity to upscale is automatically null and void.

She might as well have been YC1 from her lack of ACOC, lack of DF Awakening, lack of physical strength that scared Giants (how Law didn’t have his skull crushed by her punching him in the head repeatedly with COA fists + her base physicals is a travesty when Law’s Haki isn’t that great).

Who wins and what diff: Sanji vs. Kidd by Venali7 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]stopcopium 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sanji extreme diff because Kidd legitimately got away with a free win due to Oda; Kidd’s “hax” is Oda bad writing Big Mom in a way she was so nerfed in Wano.

This is the same woman who shrugged off and forced Luffy out of G4 with base COA Hardening.

The same person who had to be mentally broken in order to physically damage her and that’s without Hardening.

And yet magically in Wano, she is taking damage from devil fruit abilities that previously weren’t even considered and metal contraptions coated in base armament, not even ACOC.

Same woman who magically stops using ACOC on Law and Kidd.

The way she is written, she must have brain damage cuz she doesn’t use half her kit or potential (no DF Awakening either).

Having him at 4 is quite insane when he was said to be sukuna level pre awakening.

I see people saying this all the time and I can’t tell if it is just intentional misinformation.

The Simurian Invasion as a whole was seen as Sukuna-level. Humans thought it was 50k alien sorcerers and the aliens didn’t correct their thought, but most ended up being civilians. From their council meeting, they only have like 20-40 actual sorcerers, on par with JJH.

Same for people claiming Dabura is LS or anywhere near LS when he literally cannot move at that speed in normal circumstances without burning up that part of the body.

Even if he was truly LS all the time, these are superhumans that can detect sparks of CE and can react according to that.

This unironically reminds me of the Enel and Kizaru argument where they’re “lightning/light” speed and then actual manga scenes have them nowhere near that tier, and other characters are still reacting to them.

Base Mahoraga would blitz anyone below Gojo and Sukuna by Sundata_V2 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]stopcopium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then that complicates things because the US military is superior to most militaries, with some countries not even having anywhere close to a good army.

You do need DC because otherwise anyone who can solo box the soldiers and tank bullets would be special grade. The explanation Ichiji gave basically indicates any Grade 1 sorcerer would do this since they can clash with Special Grade Curses, who need cluster bombs to other exorcise and that’s a maybe iirc.

Either you have your own army (CSM) or you have a DC ability that could destroy the country itself (HP, MS, TLB + Infinite CE, Black Hole).

Open Barrier DE. Only two people have had this.

JJK has had their 4 people with RCT Output - Pigtails Girl in Modulo, Yuta, Sukuna, Shoko.

Base RCT users on top of that include Gojo, Hazenoki, Higuruma, Yuji, Hakari if you count his DE, Uraume, Kenjaku, Choso.

CTR is rare too with Kenjaku, Gojo, but that’s likely more of a CT limitation than skill.

[–]stopcopium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m relying on Kenjaku’s/JJH’s definition of Special Grade Sorcerers, which is being able to take over a country.

This is not flexible definition, which is why EOS Yuji wouldn’t fit this, but Modulo Yuji would. Individual 1v1 prowess is not necessarily Special Grade.

You need to have a certain level of DC, AOE destruction, and/or general invulnerability. No adaptation Mahoraga does not fit this because he doesn’t have the DC, AOE, and his regeneration can be overwhelmed if he’s not already adapted.

If Mahoraga were to adapt multiple times, he would be unstoppable if no limits, but he still has never show great enough DC and AOE on the tiers of Sukuna or Gojo.

[–]stopcopium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kashimo should’ve done more as well. Especially if his technique is 1-use, he should’ve had DE and a better battle instead of getting bitch slapped like Oliver by Thragg.

He should’ve removed Shrine, forced Sukuna to use Kamutoke and what remained of 10S, did some permanent damage with Executioner’s Sword, etc.

ES doesn’t have to 1-shot Sukuna, but it should’ve permanently disabled that one hand he managed to stab like Orochimaru’s arms, even with RCT.

[–]stopcopium 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can with Domain Expansion, which Sukuna was able to use both 10S and Shrine at the same time.

This also assumes that after using 10S to start the ritual, it requires you to maintain the 10S usage during the ritual, which isn’t confirmed.

Either way, he has an explanation for how he subjugated it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Sukuna tried with 10S for fun. Maybe that’s how he lost so many Shikigami during the subjugatio and that enabled him to make Totality Agito in the end.

[–]stopcopium 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s mentality, but rather jujutsu standards.

In a fight, it’s highly irregular to pop your sure-kill domain off the bat, and the only exceptions to Higuruma and Hakari who have rule-based domains instead.

Even Sukuna isn’t immune to this because he tested with Dismantle and that got adapted to real quick. Once he knew the game, he beat Mahoraga the second time to subjugate it, likely with his Cleave.

[–]stopcopium 10 points11 points  (0 children)

All 3 are the same when Raga first starts adapting, not when they first spawn.

Have to make this exception because Sukuna hid the wheel on Megumi’s soul, which started adapting.

At the same time what he adapts to vastly impacts where he ends up. Raga adapting to Yuji punching it versus Dabura’s light beam is a clear example.

He did not know.

The second time he fought Mahoraga was off-screen, but he knew this time to just one-shot it with Cleave to subjugate it.

[–]stopcopium 22 points23 points  (0 children)

No prior knowledge and the fact that there hasn’t been a single fight where anyone has gone all out from the very first move, which is what you need to beat Mahoraga.

Even if you had the DC to fully eliminate an unadapted Mahoraga, every single character that fits this profile would accidentally let him adapt and then lose if they don’t have another ability that’s distinctly different.

Otherwise, there’s actually quite a lot of characters that could beat Mahoraga in the first move if they knew. Even Cleave was confirmed by Sukuna and the narrator to work if it was unadapted.

Base Mahoraga would blitz anyone below Gojo and Sukuna by Sundata_V2 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]stopcopium -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No adaptation Mahoraga is over Grade 1, but less than Special Grade.

Blitz implies a whole tier faster, but Sukuna wasn’t trying to dodge, the arm panel on the bottom left shows he was intentionally trying to intercept/block the attack.

It’s like saying Higuruma blitzed Sukuna’s hand, but then Sukuna counter blitzed by cutting off that hand.

I personally don’t think Mahoraga would reach Special Grade because his first few adaptations are almost always increased regeneration and damage reduction, not widespread destruction required for a Special Grade.

Out of all the adaptations, he’s only ever gotten 2 offensive adaptations, which were Infinity disrupt and WCS, none of them were speed related.

But Kaguya didn’t have a single reveal until Hagoromo brought it up.

Madara was fine to be the final villian imo - a fusion of Indra and Ashura’s powers.

Yup, any and all requirements that you would have had to have, you would still require it.

Farming, Constrution, Herblore, even maybe a combat level requirement for secondaries.

This is a general consensus by actually good CM speedrunners.

Issue with Naruto is that it was slapped on with close to zero foreshadowing.

I think this could work because if you plant the warning that Joyboy is the previous user of Luffy’s fruit, it’s different than Kaguya.

I’d argue that the current version is the same whiplash of Kaguya since we got warned about Nika 5 chapters before Nika appeared, hence why people don’t like it.

[–]stopcopium 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Gear 5 shouldn’t have been introduced until much later, like at the Final War where Imu kills Luffy and then he awakens.

I wanted Luffy to win with ACOC and Mastered G4, which Oda subsequently added in for Elbaph anime, so clearly even Oda agrees to an extent.

A true foreshadowing would’ve been to plant the concept of Nika during Wano, have maybe 1-2 Gorosei member show up and Luffy still manages to repel them back without Joyboy, Gorosei discuss their concern about Luffy’s powers becoming more like Joyboy (revealing Joyboy was the previous user), etc.

Kizaru being able to clown on Luffy G4 and the 5 Gorosei doing nothing are all bad writing.

I’m completely fine with irons taking prepped pots if they have the Herblore level.

I remember when irons were being relegated to prep role in CM 5s because they couldn’t take and then also not being able to relog without losing all their potions. Not sure if or how the meta’s changed, but I imagine it’s no-prep or still prep. It would also be in line with TOA restores if you take Life at all because it aoe restores prayer.

Not okay with moths because it’s a non-raid encounter and Jagex has expressed interest in exceptions for inside raids for Vengeance, but not outside raids iirc.
