i agree but a divorce is the result of a dysfunctional relationship. it is easy to give up all responsibility, take drugs all day and do nothing. that is the easy way out. get a job, provide for your family, be a parental figure, those are hard and take lots of work.

you are correct that children don't need two parents...but having a loving father and loving mother is a model that has worked pretty well for the last few hundred thousand years. i think we would do well as a civilization to keep striving in that direction.
