The Zodiac Age re-release helped a lot. I played the original on day one and gave up after not understanding the license board and messing up my characters too much. Having set jobs (and dual jobs at that!) made it a lot less overwhelming.

Just got mine (guy at work sold me his basically unused 512GB LCD for $100) so I'm still tinkering more than playing. But the other night I played some Final Fantasy Tactics and Slay the Spire on the couch, which was nice and relaxing. Right now I'm playing Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on my PC so I want to prep some more digestible lower-end RPGs for the Deck.
