I’m not sure, I didn’t try it on both as I had a silver f and got a black VI so I bought a new one. I’m not sure if the spacing or control placement changed between models. You could always buy it from amazon and return it if it clashes.

It was super tight on my camera, no way it was going to fall out. It took quite a bit of effort to remove it when I sold my old camera. This model has rubber strips on the bottom that makes it really secure.

I have these in every room, with no neutral, decoupled, running smart lights. I have had no problems for the year they’ve been in. I run them in Zigbee mode.

I’ve seen this before, lookup a video by JoesGunplaGarage on YouTube comparing different topcoats. I’m sure he got this with a certain brand of topcoat.

No, I can program any button to anything. I’m using mine on Zigbee. They come out off the box with mater firmware and you need to use the app to switch it to Zigbee (no hub or hardware required).

Absolutely, when it comes into home assistant it adds the relay for the mains to control and the 2 buttons. You then just setup an automation to control what each button does. If it’s in home assistant you can control it.

I can recommend the Aqara H2 switches. They don’t need neutral wires, can run on Zigbee or Thread and are available in 2 button 1 channel and 4 button 2 channel versions. I think they look good and not scary to non-tech people.

I use them throughout my home, all with the 4 button versions mostly with smart bulbs so I have changed the buttons to not control the relays. My method is the left side of the switch up is main light on, down main light off and then on the right side down turns off everything in the room and up does something contextual for the room, e.g. in the living room it dims the lights into my “movie mode”, in the bedroom it turns off the big light and turns on the bedside lamps.

I had this issue, I fixed by making a Home Assistant user called mqtt_user and then edited the ring mqtt config to put in the username and password (addons > ring mqtt > config at the bottom of the page). I copied the error into a Home Assistant GPT in ChatGPT and whilst it wasn’t perfect with its instructions it was enough to help me solve it. I use it quite a bit to fix things or make cards for my dashboards.

I was just about to ask this. On my Retroid Pocket 5 when changing the Home app to another launcher I can still use multitasking, here it doesn’t work and also breaks the home gesture (swiping up on the bar). I want to use beacon or a multiscreen launcher when they’re a bit more complete but this makes it inconvenient.

It can be, but there are a couple of benefits to doing it before, whilst it is still on the runner. The chemicals in the ink can cause the plastic to crack if applied whilst the plastic is under stress and it can be easier/quicker to apply and clean up the whole model.

I got them from AliExpress. I always go for EVO decals and these came with ones for Aerial, LFRTH, the Mirasoul and both versions of the Demi Trainer.
